Strangely, this topic is not for people to show their ignorance about Global Warming.
The real reason I put the Bethlehem temp in is that people who claim that the Christmas birth of our Lord could NOT have been early in the morning of the 25 Dec 0001-BC because 'there were shepherds abiding in their fields by night' and it is way to cold for that to happen. Sorry, I've been checking the temps in the area of Bethlehem for about 17 years and 15 of those years it was plenty warm enough for shepherds and their sheep to be out in the fields the night starting 25 Dec. Our wonderful Lord and God has given each dumb sheep a nice wool coat lots better than I have ever had (I only owned one, with a 24-inch waist /now have a waist more like all five of these guys put together :1_grouphug: . or 24" backwards = 42"/ ).
I aught to check the temp now. It should just be midnight, 6 hours into 24 Dec 2008 in that time zone.

Here it is 11:50PM (23 Dec 2008, or calendar), 24 Dec 2008 local calendar
The temp if 57-degrees-F, with fog, the UV- is zero (the sun is down - DUH)
Shepherds are out in the fields tending their sheep. RIGHT NOW
BTW, the high where I live yesterday, Monday 22 Dec 2008 was 25-degrees-F. Today, Tuesday 23 Dec 2008 it is
Ice10 (iced in, a pun) and the temp has warmed up to 33-degrees-F. Seems ice from the sky is more likely at 32-degree-F (and nearby) than when
it is to cold to snow. Anyway, the proofs for Global warming, if you go by individual examples can show the temperature is cold. But for every example you have it is cold, I have that it is warmer. Again, it is the overall average worldwide mantle bottom to Atmosphere temp that matters; not what any individual's thermometer says. BTW,
