Could it be the media, by jumping all over this nothingburger, has opened a bucket of worms with Joe Biden's name on it?
"...are the media stepping into a trap? The Biden family’s shading dealings with Ukraine are a real problem for the Democrat frontrunner. This story stinks to high heaven. Until now, the media have diligently fought to protect Biden by ignoring the whole thing. But now… the media are talking about it."

One big talking point from the Trump haters is they are saying that investigation of Hunter Biden's company by the Ukrainian prosecutor was "over".
But the truth was that it had not begun.
Biden faces scrutiny for demanding ouster of Ukraine official probing firm that employed his son
Shokin (fired prosecutor) told The Hill that he had made “specific plans” for the probe, including “interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”
“I would like to emphasize the fact that presumption of innocence is a principle in Ukraine,” he added.
A representative for Joe Biden did not respond to a request for comment for this report; neither did a representative at Hunter Biden's current company.
Hunter Biden, now 49, is the younger son of the former vice president, whose elder son Beau died of cancer in 2015.
The probe ended shortly after Shokin was fired, and no charges were filed against any individuals of the company. Prosecutors apparently weren't able to obtain required documents by the deadline.
But according to the Hill, General Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko reopened the case in 2018 following Biden’s remarks at the event, with the prosecutor saying that the evidence in the case may be of interest to U.S. authorities.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Biden had correlated and connected this aid with some of the HR (personnel) issues and changes in the prosecutor’s office,” Lutsenko told the outlet. -

If I understand that crook Biden correctly, it was that crook Obama who told the Ukrainians that they had to pay to play and that they had to fire their prosecutor. Hunter owes Barry big time, huh?

DOH! Did You Know There's a Treaty Between the USA & Ukraine Regarding Cooperation For Prosecuting Crimes? - DCWhispers.com
This was signed while Biden was in Congress, during Clinton. This, alone, nullifies the ridiculous impeachment proceedings. -
There's More! Ukraine Whistleblower's Lead Attorney Donated to Joe Biden's Presidential Campaign

Why is Biden not impeached? He openly bragged about using the power of his office to coerce a foreign government to help him out on a personal matters, specifically possible criminal acts by his son.
There's nothing wrong with Trump asking the Ukraine for an explanation of what happened. In fact, it's the right thing to do.
"Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it." There's nothing impeachable for Trump in that comment.
