Nothing is wrong with the coast. I prefer it to the gulf and the west coast. I like the cities along the southern east coast (like Charleston, Savannah, and St. Augustine). And the inlets are cool as well. Beaufort SC is one of my favorite small towns. But if you want water like the Bahamas go to Destin FL. That is also pretty and they have great fishing.

 

Florida is OK. I prefer the GA and SC coast. My preference is north of St. Augustine and south of Myrtle Beach. It get's cold, but not too cold....hot but not too hot too long.

 

If by "industrial" you are referring to extent, then I am. But I am trying to lose weight (had steel cut oats for lunch). If you mean "industrious", well...those days are behind me.
