What upsets me the most is conventions that work in
every program save the Microsoft Programs.
For convience, nearly every application program has
the capablity of:
1. Select some text (sometimes pictures & hypertext also)
2. hit 'CTRL C' (this saves that selected in a buffer for later use
3. put the curser on the place you would like to insert
OR over text you would like to replace
4. The cumputer will place the buffered material in
the new place.
This is very neat so you won't have to write down on
a piece of paper the material you which to copy.
Most Microsoft programs do NOT use this feature.
Sorry, write it down like we did in the BM (pun intended,
BM = Before Microsoft ).

Microsoft irritate the heck out of me. For instance, today one of my computer's applications crashed. A dialogue-window then popped up thus: "You chose to end a non-responsive program. Please tell Microsoft about it." Here's what I'd like to "tell them about":
"Gee, I didn't know I had a choice. I thought the swine had just crashed and there was nothing I could do about it. If I'd known I had a choice, do you really think I would have 'chosen' to end the program I was using, with unsaved data on it?"
Yes, the above paragraph is what I'd like to 'tell Microsoft about' (along with quite a bit else which is unprintable here). -
Oh simmer down you should all feel good that your continued support of Microsoft is helping Bill and Melinda Gates and the UN come with ways to drastically reduce the surface population of the earth. :1_grouphug:
