It's in chapter 8.
Fox says, in the ad, that Steele wants to make stem-cell research illegal, someting Steele has never said, or even alluded to. Right now, it is a constitutional right for doctors to harvest eggs, fertile or not, from compensated women.
See above.
I'm not sure of Sttele's complete platform. I do know he never said what Fox is accusing him of saying.

If you believe that the embryos are babies, then you evidently are against the process of implanting fertilized embryos into the uterus, as there are thousands of them destroyed in this process every year. That Rush Limbaugh has opened his mouth and put his foot in it too many times to be taken seriously. Of course, his fellow dittoheads don't have a problem with that.

Limbaugh needs to get off his meds. He obviously knows nothing about Parkinsons, and you cannot get much lower than his comments about Fox. Parkinsons sufferers often have to cycle on and off their meds. Some days they work better than others, as the dosage is very difficult to titrate.
Bottom line, this porcine waste of drug-addicted fat, cannot discuss issues. Instead he attacks people with crippling diseases. Only the brain addled dittoheads can condone his behavior.
And yes, I see the irony in my comments. -

It is simply further proof that Rush is a bad guy. I cannot believe that I was a Dittohead for all those years......

DeeJay said:I am sure you know that it was cleared up by the prescribing Dr. himself. The Dr. told the airport athorities that he prescribed the medication to his own name to protect Limbaughs privacy. I am sure you can find that in a paper post June 27, 2006

Baptist in Richmond said:Yeah, right. How many doctors prescribe medication for themselves when in actuality it is for another person? Is that considered ethical? How hard would it be to go to another doctor and get the same prescription, only this time for yourself? Would your doctor do it? If you were the one caught with the prescription that was not in your name, what would happen to you?
Nice try though...

If I was caught I would be detained until I could contact my Dr. to clear it up. That is what happened. Why dont you explain why there was not charges filed.
Nice try though... -

BTW, when I first heard Rush say this on his show, I thought it was ironic that he would comment on being "off his medications" considering his desire for painkillers. And, yes I do listen to Rush for thirty minutes during my lunch; it's all I can stand of him. -
It is generally not illegal under Florida law for a physician to prescribe medication in a third party's name if all parties are aware and the doctor documents it correctly, said Mike Edmondson, a spokesman for the state attorney in Palm Beach County. He would not discuss specifics in the Limbaugh case Tuesday.
Limbaugh's lawyer, Roy Black, said the prescription was written in Limbaugh's doctor's name "for privacy purposes." The conservative radio host was released without being charged and investigators confiscated the Viagra, which treats erectile dysfunction.Click to expand...

I also heard Rush's program, and know exactally what was said and the attitude with which it was said. It was mentioned that Michael J. stated in his book that he went off his meds before appearing before the senate committee....... to make a more dramatic statement of the ravages of the disease. I could easily imagine that in his passion for the cause that he would do the same for emtional impact for this commercial.....
But that is not offensive to me. What is offensive to me is that the cause he is trying to push is "embryonic" stem cell research. Yes, I have a problem with that. And if you support embryonic research, I have a problem with you.
I was diagnosed a year and a half ago with a very terminal condition. Dr. told my wife that I wouldn't make it three years. Now this ain't for sympathy cause I have responded well to treatments and looks like I might be on of those who beats the odds...... but I will tell you that if my life depended on it I'd rather go on to spend eternity with my savior than be benifited by this embryonic sacrafice. And that is what I would consider it. I have no respect for Michael J. or for Chris Reeves who would choose the to allow that sacrafice to the benifit their condition.
So whether you want to consider it a D/R issue or a Rush/Fox issue, I consider it a basic moral issue and I am against the D/Fox side of the issue......... -
