Actually, it is quite inconsistent of you to be against abortion as b.c. Since the first trimester embryo is just a blob of cells, then why should it matter what the abortion is for? If it is for b.c., then why do you care? Such inconsistency on your part reveals that you cannot truly live with your wicked worldview regarding this issue. Time to repent.

Sorry, but your self righteousness is stinking up the place. It is not inconsistent. I did not say I oppose it because we are talking about a "blob of cells". I never said why. You continue to try to discern some secret agenda on my part, and you continue to strike out.

Notice I said routine and regular. That is because it is irresponsible to keep getting pregnant and opting for abortion, rather than using contraceptive measures.

So, your repeated oblique name calling is getting you nowhere. If you have a point, make it. Repeatedly saying I have a depraved or wicked worldview has no bearing on the subject. I have already demonstrated that verses used by some to prove the point, actually do NOT indicate a Biblical ban on abortion. You are free to your opinion, but that is all it is. You disagree with me, and that is fine. But quite frankly, your continuous acts of proping up strawmen that have nothing to do with what I am saying is getting boring.

Actually, I prefer that you were inconsistent. That was my hope. But your admission that it is ok to abort for mere b.c. (as long as they don't have too many of them) is quite chilling. But I have to ask, why is it irresponsible to use it regularly for b.c.? Since we are not dealing with human life, what does it matter to you?

Thanks for asking instead of making up something this time!

I don't think it is medically wise for a woman to have repeated D&C, as there is a risk of damage to the reproductive organs. As already stated, for an abortion beyond fairly early term to take place, I think there needs to be a clear and present danger to the life or well-being of the woman.

Let me also add for clarity...I am not pro-abortion. I wish it was a rare procedure. But I also believe it needs to be, and should, remain a legal option between a woman and her physician. Hard, fast rules have unintended consequences.

Anything less than wanting Roe Vs Wade overturned is support of it.

Like the unintended consequences when abortion was legalized? Millions and millions of children murdered in cold-blood.

But it is perfectly fine to have one d&c? Whatever makes your conscience feel good. What about the morning after pill? Repeated use of it doesn't harm the woman like d&c does it? If it doesn't harm the woman then I guess it is ok to use it frequently as b.c. So much for making abortion rare. Sad. Truly sad that you would support such an evil. I truly hope you repent someday.

On what basis do you think this? It is certainly not based on Scripture. I find it to be no accident that you also believe in evolution and support the termination of human life that doesn't qualify as human enough for you. Evil begets evil.

Luke 17:2, " It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than he should cause one of these little ones to stumble"

Proverbs 24:11-12 Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, "Behold, we did not know this,"does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?

You have no logical basis to wish it was rare, since it is merely a termination of nonhuman cells. You are simply trying to soften your sin.

On what basis? I have already answered that I believe a late term fetus IS a person, as they have all the development already, and could conceivably (no pun intended) survive ex-utero.

Biological evolution has no bearing on this to me at all. One deals with the origins of life on earth, the other has to do with reproductive development. It is clear that a "blob of cells" as you put it, is not a cuddly little baby. It can't cry, laugh, feel, poop, emote, see, hear, taste, touch, or smell.

It is obvious neither of us will change the others' mind, and that is not my goal anyway. So as we are way over the page limit, I suspect these will be my last words on the subject for now.

Adding: Again you are making things up. I never said anything about "non-human" cells. You are hereby annointed the king of strawman construction.

    Job 1:13-21

Satan Takes Job’s Property and Children

13Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 14and there came a messenger to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15and(A) the Sabeans fell upon them and took them and struck down the servants[a] with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you." 16While he was yet speaking, there came another and said,(B) "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you." 17While he was yet speaking, there came another and said,(C) "The Chaldeans formed(D) three groups and made a raid on the camels and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you." 18While he was yet speaking, there came another and said,(E) "Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 19and behold, a great wind came across(F) the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you."

20Then Job arose and(G) tore his(H) robe and(I) shaved his head(J) and fell on the ground and worshiped. 21And he said,(K) "Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I(L) return. The LORD(M) gave, and the LORD has taken away;(N) blessed be the name of the LORD."

Satan also killed innocent humans. Do we want to mimic Satan?
It's not our right to decide whether a life, depending upon how advanced it is, has the right to live. It is NOT our decision, but the Lords.

We do NOT decide to use secular methods to kill a baby because in god's natural birthing process, he has decided the mother would die. We are not God. To play God is dangerous.

To go onto a message board supporting the slaughter of God's little innocent one's will result in a wrath of judgment I don't even want to consider.

So you admit it is human life and yet support the termination of that human life. Your position is more evil than I thought.

No, I never said cells were not human cells, but that a blastocyst is not a person. Poop contains human cells. You gonna save your poop too!

I want to thank MP for stating what he believes...
I think he is wrong, obviously, but by him debating with us, it gives us a platform to spread the truth about abortion.

It allows the world to see the debate. And for that I am pleased.

I hope one girl that is considering abortion stumbles onto this thread, and understands that she is considering murder.

For that, Thank you MP for debating this.

I hope MP also considers your words. We should all pray for him. God seems to be quite clear on this issue.

Comparing human life to excrement tops it all. So fitting for an evolutionary secularist. Your views are abhorrent.
