Tony Blair has gone on a £4 million (US$8 million) trip around the world as part of his 'farewell' tour.
After announcing his resignation, he remains Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party until late June, when he hands over to Gordon Brown. Until then the country is in a type of limbo.
We have plenty of issues to deal with such as immigration, terrorism, education etc, but Blair seems more intent on shaking the hands of foreign leaders than running the country.

Ah yes, the Blairwell Tour. So, we don't know who's in charge of the nation's finances (Gordon ain't exactly concentrating on being Chancellor at the mo), security (John Read has said he'll fall on his sword), or health (Patsy Hewitt will be fired by Gordon)...apart from those unimportant jobs we have a government...

Yes, who is running the Government at the moment? It's not 'Two Fists' Prescott is it? -

No, the Mouth of the Humber's on holiday - sorry, on 'government business' - in the Caribbean, getting as he so eloquently puts it, "an effing sun tan". Meanwhile the parade of hopeless non-entities who are queuing up to succeed him were given a roasting by Paxman on Newsnight on Tuesday

Isn`t " the Mouth of the Humber " in hospital at present.......... last time BLIAR was away he was playing croquet .......... or something............. what a shambles !!!
There may / may not be a typo in my post, depends on what your opinion is -
