Ugh. I just couldn't do it for either of them. I can't see a Republican I trust now, either.

Big-government liberal republicans. Scream about limited government, yet want DOMA, War on Terror, Patriot Act, tell us not to worry about a military-style police. And everyone who disagrees is an abortion-loving liberal.

They're for limited government, until they're not.

I'm glad McCain didn't win now though when I look back on it. He has become a little too hawkish as of late. Romney admittedly was almost something of a curiosity vote. That being said I agree with all of the issues you describe.

I wonder why you didn't quote my whole post. You know, the part where I apologized to him and tried to move on and get past all of this. Why are you trying to restart an argument that is obviously between me and him?

Too many leftists? That's hilarious. Of course it all depends on how "leftist" is defined here on BB. I've been called a liberal. LOL!

There's maybe two or three liberals on here. The rest are either Tea Partiers, Libertarians, or non-RINO Republicans. It does resemble an echo chamber at times. Not always, but frequently. The complete range of political opinion among the majority of posters here differs not in what side of the issues they are on, but mostly on how to go about addressing the issues.

I'm resembling your sentiments more and more every day. The thread about the Republicans in the House introducing some 300 bills that Harry Reid let languish on his desk was met with jeers by most here. I applauded the inaction.

Funny how Republicans say they are for limited government but want new government programs for photo voter ID, a national database for employers to enroll their workers into to stop illegals from working, etc. etc. They simply want to use the government to enforce their ideas and policies.

sigh...voter id is not a government program. If we are going to talk about thigns we disagree with we need to represent them honestly.

A lot like the other side. I'm getting a little tired of all the enforcing going on.

I can tell you that Evangelicals and Fundamentalists cannot discuss an issue without someone posting against them. I am not sure who is the Tea Party member here if anyone. The Libertarians are divided among themselves over the legalization of same-sex marriage that their party calls for and they do not support Reagan's call for a constitutional amendment to protect the life of the unborn child.

It looks like boots will be on the ground!

It is beginning to look like the war Obama loved to hate, is slowly coming back to haunt him! Let's pray that e don't have to resort to putting anymore boots on the ground, but should we forced to do this, that as many American life's as possible be spared!

The real war is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, spiritual wickedness in high places, promulgated by the prince of the power of the air--against Jehovah.

The secular humanists who run this country have not a clue nor does the body politic.

It is long past time to repent and do the first works.

Someone get an RFP for more boots--more Kevlar too.

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

EXACTLY...and we should always remember this truth.

BTW, isn't the term "secular humanists" a code word's for Atheist?
