Freshman Congressman Tom Cotton (R-AR) delivered some thought-provoking comments on terrorism and the Obama administration on Wednesday during a speech on the House floor. “In barely four years,” he said, “five jihadists have reached their targets in the United States under Barack Obama.”
But he wasn’t done there.
“In the over seven years after 9/11 under George W. Bush, how many terrorists reached their target in the United States?” he added. “Zero! We need to ask, ‘Why is the Obama Administration failing in its mission to stop terrorism before it reaches its targets in the United States?’”

The brothers were already here before Obama took over. So it must have been Bush's oversight.
This fellow, Cotton, is simply trying to make political points. Read Tenet's book to see how this is done. -

Oh looky poor little libbies are ignoring facts. We'll all have a heart attack and dies of not surprised. And Robert save your nasty pm's for the other children and leave the adults alone.

Yeah, except for that one screw up on 9/11, Bush did a great job of protecting America. That's like saying except for pigging out on Thanksgiving turkey, I did great on my diet. Haha.

Before 9/11 we did not understand the insanity of our enemy. No one had, since japan, had the cajones to attack us on such a large scale.
Now that we do understand the insanity, there is NO excuse for such attacks not to be prevented. Especially when carried out by guys already on the watch lists of 3 "security" based departments of the government.
Bush got blind sided, we all did. We felt secure at home. Obama does not have that to fall back on. No post 9/11 president will for decades be allowed to be so unprepared as Obama is for such attacks. -

My 2 cents worth is that Obama cut the spending on the Office for Bombing Prevention from Bush's 20 million dollars to 11 million dollars.
Here is a supporting link from Investors Business Daily newspaper, although the story was first published by a British newspaper and I posted a thread about it. I heard it on talk radio by you-know-who.

Is this a terrorist attack during Bush's term? Why or why not?
The Seattle Jewish Federation shooting occurred on July 28, 2006, at around 4:00 p.m. Pacific time, when Naveed Afzal Haq shot six women, one fatally, at the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle building in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, USA. Naveed Haq was convicted in December 2009 and sentenced to life without parole plus 120 years.
Marla Meislin-Dietrich, a database coordinator for the center, told The Associated Press. "He said 'I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel,' before opening fire on everyone," Meislin-Dietrich said. "He was randomly shooting at everyone."

What about this?:
The Beltway sniper attacks took place during three weeks in October 2002 in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Ten people were killed and three other victims were critically injured in several locations throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and along Interstate 95 in Virginia. It was later learned that the rampage was perpetrated by one man, John Allen Muhammad, and one minor, Lee Boyd Malvo, driving a blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice sedan, and had apparently begun the month before with murders and robbery in Louisiana and Alabama, which had resulted in three of the deaths. -

Obama cut the money for the Office for Bombing Prevention by 45%. Those are his fingerprints on that. The sequester did not cut any spending below previous years to the Dept of Homeland Security. It merely slowed the rate of increase.
It has been established beyond a shadow of a doubt that the sequester was Obama's idea and he vehemently declined legislation that would have allowed him to personally protect whatever programs he chose.
There is no way around the fact that cutting the Office for Bombing Prevention by 45% had nothing to do with the Obama's sequester but was an error by the Democrat Party. -
While we're on the subject of cutting funding, why not cut funding to Planned Parenthood?
I could think of a lot better uses of our tax money than helping to fund the murder of innocent babies.
Talk about "choice,".......What choice did the babies have? -

It is a proven fact that the so called cuts made in the name of the "sequester" are all a farse.
