Bush Beer Bash ;)
"Nothing the president said could be quoted, but it's rare that reporters get uninterrupted access to him for 90 minutes, particularly when beer is served. Bush, who gave up drinking years ago, drank a non-alcoholic Buckler."
non-alcholic I don't think so that is misleading
Buckler is alcoholic. And apparently their is a
batch of Buckler out their that is more than
just alcoholic.
<a href="http://beernexus.com/flashnews8.html" target="_blank">Buckler
packs wallop</a>
Buckler Beer is supposed to have less than 0.5% alcohol by volume but that was not the case for more than 1 million bottles that have been recalled in Japan for far exceeding that limit. During the production process, insufficient heating reportedly led to beers fermenting in bottles, boosting the alcohol content. Most of the bottles were produced by Heineken Japan and Kirin Brewery.
Buckler is low alcohol beer and apparently their
is a batch out there that is packing quite a
wallop.
but to say that bush drinks non-alcoholic beer
is just plain not the truth he drinks low alcoholic beer.
Can an Alcoholic have any degree of alcohol and it
not take him off the wagon?

No Bush fan, but this appears to be a non-runner.
-
Beer that is labelled "Non-Alcoholic" often actually is 0.5%, I dont think it is possible to make it any other way, often it is brewed and then De-Alcoholised.
-
Was he an actual alcoholic or did he just drink too much? I think a lot the suseptability to addiction is genetic.

Aslan,
Try the Democratic Underground. Perhaps one of the mental patients there will actually care.
Joseph Botwinick -
I drink De-alcoholized wine from ARIEL vineyards. If the president wants to dring non-alcoholic beer that is his business, 0.5% alcohol by volume is less alcohol than vanilla extract or NyQuil. I agree with C4K, this thread is not an issue!
-
I've read the OP several times and am still wondering; Is there a point there somewhere?

Yup. The salient point is A-PAL will stop at nothing to try and make our elected leader look bad. Even if it makes A-PAL look bad. It's very tiresome.
-
Even if the President drinks regular beer, that is not a public issue.
-
This is one of the dumbest waste of webspace I've seen on the BB.
Next, people will be wanting reporters to go into his bathroom to see if he cheats and swallows a little of his mouth-wash.
Actually, it simply shows the depths people will go to slander someone they do not like (especially in politics). -
It looks like the majority of the Republicans, Democrats and Constitutionalists are all in agreement here that the OP of this thread is grasping at straws over a non-issue.
Isn't it nice when we can all agree about something! -
If we all ignore it it will fade away into oblivion .
-
Actually,
I don't really want it to fade away. I think it is profitable to see the desperation and bitterness of those on the looney left in the Democrat Party. :D
Joseph Botwinick -
I'd rather have coffee myself.
