Bush is correct. I have had a feeling for some time now that Bush was surrounded by bad advisors. Since he has left office I have watched what he has done and said ... and I am even more inclined to believe bad advisors was one of his major problems.

I believe that Bush was the ignorant puppet of some truly evil people, e.g. Dick Cheney. Bush was just stupid. His dad's political machine is the only reason he was even governor of Texas. If his name had been Bill Smith, he would have remained a failed businessman, and nothing more.

Bush started the catastrophe.. Obama continues the giveaway of America to losers...

Of course Bush is going to say that. Both are socialists.. I wish I had my vote back in 2000, and 2004.

Don't make stuff up. You haven't watched anything. Until this speech, Bush has said or done nothing publicly, by intention, and this speech was more of his pattern of deference to the next guy. Bush has showed again that, whether you agree with his policies or not, he was a pretty class act.

That's not quite right my friend. I was impressed at how Bush helped in the transition and he made several favorable comments at that time. Frankly, I was surprised how cooperative he was in the transition period and that improved his image in my eyes.

That's fine, but that's not what you said. You said "Since he has left office I have watched what he has done and said..."

The transition was prior to him leaving office. So unless you know him personally, you haven't watched what he has done and said "since he has left office" because until this speech, it was all private.

However, I am not sure why his gentlemanly behavior was surprising. He was well known for reaching out even to his enemies all through his administration. It was his personality to do that.

Libbies are trying to make a case that Bush was stupid and a puppet all the while being controlled by evil men like Cheney and Rove. It really isn't surprising to them it is a tactic to make an invalid point.
