Does this make any sense to you the taxpayer? Why is the State of California "moving to quickly open a 40-bed hospital at San Quentin prison to house them" uness, unless, the state is close to ending the death penalty?
Why would a person sentenced to death need mental health care? Will it help them have a more stable frame of mind when they are finally put to death? Will it teach them to meditate, and be mentally calm and at peace when their big day comes?
I think this is one more way the State of California is wasting taxpayer's money on a service that is going to have no positive impact on these inmates. Even if they miraculously overcome the psychotic episodes and personalities that got them on death row in the first place, what good will this service do to make them better for prison life and society, UNLESS, the government knows something, the public is not privy too! :type:
