and no, we did not decide with Adam. Adam alone decided for himself, and his decision affected us. we were not condemned by our own volition, but that of our representative. thus, a born child has no choice but is condemned.

Yes we are condemned by our own volition according to Jesus. Jesus is concluding his discourse with Nicodemus when he said,

John 3:18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

A born child is more likely to believe in Jesus than a adult human. Most people who believe in Jesus as adults, first came to believe while a child or in their youth.
