4 days for Chauvin to be arrested? That is shameful. And then the initial medical examiner report seemed overly favourable to the police. All signs of a corrupt justice system. I would be surprised if this was chauvin’s first murder.

How many other injustices don’t get caught on camera or don’t result in death? Or result in a slap in the wrist? And when you accumulate all the cases, recent and older ones, the floodgates of anger opened.

That's garbage. The justice system worked--the police officer was charged with murder. When a doctor makes a mistake, he just buries the patient.

 

Well, Minneapolis is a liberal Democrat city so you can't expect swift law enforcement from a Democrat as they are not into law and order. You need a scorecard to know the players. There was not a word said about the two blacks murdered during the downtown Indianapolis demonstrations by other blacks. Quite a number of blacks were killed by other blacks during the demonstrations. A black federal officer was killed in Oakland and the retired officer in St. Louis. At any rate, 4 days is meaningless. They did have to wait for the autopsy before they knew the cause of death so that they would not what to charge the officer with. They charged him with second degree murder. It is lucky for the officer that he was not in Australia where they put Roman Catholic Cardinal Pell in prison for one year before their highest court ruled unanimously that there was no evidence against him. I guess the Australian court was a so-called kangaroo court.

 

There is only one narrative. A man, named George Floyd, was murdered by a police officer when the officer refused to take his knee off from the man's neck.
What George Floyd had done in his life previously is of no concern to the present. Bringing up the past is merely a diversion to downplay the present. From what I have read and from watching the memorial service, George Floyd also did some positive things. By God's grace, George Floyd heard the gospel and gained faith. I expect we will meet him in heaven someday.

 

I beg to differ - if George had not been a current drug user he would still be alive today. The cops at the scene knew he was high and that was one factor in how he was treated - he tried to drive away in that state.

 

Once Mr. Floyds death became political, there is no problem with taking off the gloves off and allowing the full truth of Mr. Floyds life to come to light.

 

No it isn't. The Hennepin County DA himself that was as fast a charging of someone as there ever was. They want to come up with the charge that is most likely to stick and that is what they first came up with - Murder 3. Ellison's upgrade to Murder 2 is going to be harder to prove.
