Yea, how terrible someone learns the language the the Bible was written in. This man is proud of his lack of education.
This man is the offspring of the Hyles mentality. I wonder if he knows the apocrypha was contained in the 1611. Probably not since he hates education so much. Can you imagine the intellect of his followers?

We believe the KJB is the inspired and preserved word and words of God –
We believe that which is perfect to be the King James Bible and so it has all come spiritually. I Corinthians 13:10
All those new modern perverted and corrupted Bibles bring to folks 'another spirit' and 'another Jesus.'
We don't preach Jesus' teachings unless they are through Paul.
Hebrews through Jude is written to those folks in the Tribulation, so we don't claim those books as TO us today anymore than we claim the Gospels TO us today either - let alone the Old Testament.
You wouldn't build a boat for salvation so why preach the Beatitudes, Matthew 28 or Mark 16, etc. to us today, either. We will leave that stuff to the Pentecostals, the cults and to the Purpose Driven, ALPHA modern Christians - they preach another Jesus, not the real Risen Christ!
In fact, I doubt you can talk me into having your family sing or have you or your wife sing or play any specials. I would be glad to tell all the particulars to that statement when you are here, but suffice it to say, if you are bringing along a music ministry with you, you probably won't be able to present it here - ESPECIALLY if you are from the South, North, East or Western part of this country. It seems that God's praises are being polluted in all parts of our country today.
We love guns - we use guns - we shoot guns - we carry guns - the pulpit has a loaded one all ready for post-911 use.
- We will not willingly listen, seek out or encourage any greek in our studies or sermons - or in or from the pulpit - NONE!
- No Hebrew is necessary, either!
- The King James 1611 Bible is essential for one's salvation.
- The King James 1611 Bible is truly the sword of the Spirit and is essential for spiritual circumcision, without which Christ can not enter nor can we be made holy!
- It will be the lack of hearing the King James Bible that will be the base of the famine in Amos 8:11-13
John 1:1 is referring to the King James 1611 Bible today as well as Jesus Christ.
That's just a few off page 1. I can't wait to read the rest. -
Would you defend the greek with a gun?
-
Blasphemy! -
DeeJay: //I am all for carrying a gun leagally. I am all for defence
of myself and my family. What does he mean he
would use it to defend the Bible?//
Blow away an Alexandrian for Jesus?
-- Ed, an Alexandrian that shoots back :)
Meanwhile, Brother Bible John's CARM site is like a City on a Hill
which cannot (indeed SHOULD NOT) be hidden.
So the 'check this out' aught to remind us, if this man is
called of God, then God has to call two dozen of the rest of us
to undo his work. Anybody ever studied some of the work of
those who deprogram? 'Deprogram' refers to those ministers who
correct the bad that the severe 'control cults' have done to people. -
Now Hebrew...maybe.  -
Don't worry Bible John, I don't plan on emailing you. -
lol:laugh:
Look at this
We love guns - we use guns - we shoot guns - we carry guns - the pulpit has a loaded one all ready for post-911 use.
This guy has problems. He need help.
He could have a pretty cool bumper sticker though
I use my 1911 to protect my 1611
If you dont use the 1611 you can talk to my 1911

Nobody should get bent out of shape over that Touchet website. What we all should do is break out laughing until our sides hurt. Don't you see, the guy is pulling our collective legs. He's probably laughing his guts out right now--about how he got to us. He's thinking we're to dumb to realize it's all a joke.
Uh, it is a joke, isn't it?
Isn't it?
:( -
no, here is the joke;

I can never understand why some many KJVO take pride in being uneducated, and then speak is if they know the truth. One thing for sure, by telling what they know, they prove they do not know.
The apocrypha is often used as proof by the KJVO as a bad line of MSS. Yet as you so righly state, the KJV had the apocrypha with it at 1st. If you point this out to a KJVO they will say, "the apocrypha was only used for history". Well, that was the reason it was ALWAYS printed with the Bible until the Council of Tent. Also i'm not sure if anyone else seen the time lines they put forth, but if one did see them, there again we see no education.
They placed Jerome in the "bad" line, but Jerome was the one that DID NOT want the books of the apocrypha in the Bible. It was Jerome that came up with the word "apocrypha" for the Church leaders wanted these books in the cannon. Apocrypha means hidden as you knew. I'm not a Jerome fan, but the fact is, if it were not for Jerome, we may have had the books of the apocrypha part of the cannon.
It is also stated on this site that Augustine was the 1st real Roman Catholic. This two shows a lack of educatuion. Most would say the Catholic Church was in order at the time of the Council of Nicaea held in 325. This was before Augustine who was born in 354. Also, the Catholic church had not taken the name "Roman" until after Nestorius was branded a heretic. Nestorius was from Antioch ( the east) and Rome was looking for a chance to grab control. John of Antioch came into town and reinstated Nestorius and said it was Cyril that was the heretic. This battle grow between the east and west became a battle over Byzantium vs Romans. It was sometime before Charlemagne that the rise of the Byzantium Empire brought about the adding of the word "Roman". This was done more to place borders up around the ancient Roman Empire. But the fact is, the Roman Catholic Church was not around in Augustines days.
It should also be noted they give in their time line the idea that Augustine and Jerome were best buds. This is not the case at all. Augustine wrote a letter to Jerome, telling him he should not translate the Bible into Latin. Augustine believed all learning should come from the Greek. Remember now, Jerome was a hot head, and the two had words with each other for many years to come. After Jerome finished his work, Augustine did try to make peace with Jerome.
I could go on all night on somethings I saw wrong on this site and the way history was, but I will not. But..i want to say one more big one. The Moravia nation, one of the Slavic kingdoms played a great role in the MSS found. Cyril and Methodius were missionaries sent from Moravia to the Balkans. Cyril devised a way to write Slavonic, the Cyrillic alphabet, and translated the Bible and other books as well. German missionaries came in soon after and claimed only proper translations could come from the Greek, Hebrew and Latin. Cyril went to Rome to see the pope about the matter and got his favor. I bring this up because the TR has with it many MSS from the Moravia kingdom. These MSS came not just from Syriac, but also the latin Vulgate, and the work that Cyril done on his own. No here is this talked about in the line of translations. They make a jump from 157ad to 1517ad (Luther) and say nothing as to how we got there.
Sorry..one more. They also have a chart that claims that the Good line (TR) stated at antioch went though Greece and into England and then into USA. This Good line had major revivals and missions as proof of the good line.
The "corrupt" line started in Alexandria though Rome and into Latin and South America. Only Cults and poverty are there....or that is what they claim.
Where did JW come from? How about the Mormans? The Way? Many others..
Ok..this time I'm really stopping.:tongue3:
In Christ..James -
Thanks
Thank you for your support of CERM.
Some hate me, and some have made death threats against me.
But I continue to preach the word.

This man wrote his website long before me and this man talked over email. -

Calvary Chapel bases their doctrine on that verse. So they also do not believe in formal education. -
-
I can say with complete honesty that I find the people more temperate and with more respect for dangers of firearms and reasonable attitudes concerning guns in the south and the midwest.
Many other places you seem to have a dichotomy between those who think guns are evil and those who think guns are made for killing/violating people. -

come on JArthur,
this is not the "Hyles" mentality at work. Please don't try to bring him into every wacko discussion. k?
I frankly agree with some things said about HAC and how overboard the church goes for Hyles, but Hyles would not have started a college that teaches Greek and Hebrew if he agreed that that was unnecessary. He also did not nor would he have thrown out anything not written by Paul, as this website seems to indicate.
The notion that many have gotten that Fundamentalists hate education is really because many of us have reacted to those who seem to glorify and glory IN their higher education. Its not that we think education is bad, we just don't want to educate merely for the sake of educating. Ya know, just to have degrees behind the name so we look "better" to others. True study takes place all one's life, it is not restricted to a college or seminary.
Thats all we're saying.
But not every extremist who calls himself a Baptist is a result of Hyles.
ps. if I remember right, J Frank Norris was more likely to use a gun on people..... -
I was not clear. My agreement with Grasshopper was that the MANY ...not all of KJVO ...but many of them..glory in being uneducated. This was all that I addressed in my post. I have no statement to make on Hyles on this subject. It was not I that brought Hyles into this tread. To address the person that 1st said this, please reread the post above.
In christ..James
