None can deny the need for after school programs in our public schools, and there are all sorts of programs available but I haven't heard of any that reconcile the need for Jesus in the lives of youth.
Kids who have nothing to do after school eventually do find sinful activities such as participating in gangs, drugs, and other illegal things out of sheer boredom, lack of supervision/guidance, or having too much time with nothing constructive to do! Surely this wasted time can be used to mold children into outstanding citizens and disciples of God.
Does anyone know of any Christian after school programs that I could be a part of?
Any tips of how to get such a program started?

The Bible Club Movement started as a ministry to children out of Philadelphia. I haven't kept in touch with it, but it has grown to international status now, but I believe it still functions in the USA.
