Charges have been made public:

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Nine suspects tied to a Christian militia in the Midwest are charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then attack a funeral in the hopes of killing more law enforcement people, federal prosecutors said Monday.

Members of the group called Hutaree are charged in the case, including their leader, David Brian Stone.

Once other officers gathered for the slain officer's funeral, the group planned to detonate homemade bombs at the funeral, killing more, according to newly unsealed court papers.

The charges follow FBI raids over the weekend on locations in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

According to investigators, the Hutaree view local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel as a "brotherhood" and an enemy, and planned to attack them as part of an armed struggle against the U.S. government.

First, I don't call them militia - Militias are Authorized military units of the Several States.

These folks are renegades.

Crabby, to be consistent in your habit of assigning of guilt by association you should apologize for the actions of these people in as much as you claim to be a Christian too.

Do you consider them Christian?

Do you consider them Christian?

It doesn't matter what I think.

They are described by the press as Christian - so using the standard that you apply to groups like the Tea Party you need to apologize for their actions since you too claim to be Christian.

ROFL ... what a poor dodge. Please stay on topic.

They should be arrested, but considered innocent until proven guilty in court. Do you agree?

I am on topic.

This group is identified as Christian.

You have previously asked for the Republicans to apologize for the misdeeds of the Tea Party because the public associates them with the Republicans even though their membership is made up of Republicans, Democrats, and independents.

I am simply asking if you are going to be consistent and apologize for the actions of these Christians.

Or are you unwilling to apologize because you have no problem with this groups actions?

CTB, if you stated that he sun is hot, targus would accuse you of being biased and make some remark implying that you aren't actually a Christian.

 yep, I know. Oh well. By the way it is raining here today ... no fooling.

I do think it is very sad there are such misguided individuals as these follows who were arrested. It gives Christians a bad name to lots of people and fuels Muslim distrust of Christianity.

Nor are they Christians.

I would like to think I agree with you but....

We might say renegrades are not Christians because of what they do.

Now, would we say that Slave owners in the 1850 were not Christians....

This may not be the best analogy, but....

Yes, I do agree with the concept of innocent until proven guilty.

I did not know that you do also given your assignment of guilt to Republicans and threats made following the passing of the Healthscare bill.

You really should learn to be a little bit consistent.

Or at least a little bit less obvious in your bias.

Got back late Saturday evening ... had good flights, good visit and saw interesting places.

Hmmm, what does your reply have to do with the topic?

What is your take on the subject?
