Not to be a pest, but I think it should be "amok", not "a muck". A muck is what I cleaned out of my rain gutters last week. Oh wait, maybe "a muck" is right...

I am a Christian who is a zionist. I am not a premiller. I support Israel for Political and moral reasons. When I call myself a zionist, I mean that I believe that the Nation of Israel has the right to exist and that I support them in their fight against terrorism. I feel sorry for the Palestinian Christians, but, I do find it interesting how much they tend to blame Israel for their suffering when it is the PLO and Arafat who has created it. Like most Israelis, I hope and pray for peace in the nation of Israel, not Armageddon. I don't think, however, that peace can be achieved through negotiating peace for land with terrorists. It has been tried many times before and it has failed. The only way I see there being peace is when the terrorists are completely destroyed and defeated.

I, too, support the right of the State of Irsael to exist. But I likewise support the right of the neighboring states to exist as well. Neither Israel nor its neighbors have clean hands when it comes to the strife in the region.
I do not, however, support terrorism in any way. But what I also don't support is the broadbrushing of all the Palestinians as terrorists. I was watching CNN a while back, and remember an interview with several people living in the Palestinian territories, who worked in Israel. They were complaining how, every time a Palestinin extremist blows himself up, the border gets closed, and they can't cross the border into to their jobs. I remember what one of them said: "Don't these fanatics care that they're taking the food out of the mouths of my children?" All these folks want to do is be allowed to live out their lives. They care little about the political squabbles.
Of course, those folks also don't make the news much. -
1. I never painted all Palestinians with the broad brush of terrorists. I think I was very careful to be specific who the terrorists were: The PLO and Arafat.
2. I agree that the Palestinian leaders are the ones who are causing the suffering of their own people.
3. I don't think, although Israel is in no way perfect, that you can paint Israel as being on equal footing morally as the PLO and the terrorists. They have shown far more restraint than anyone would normally expect even America to do, and they have tried to seek peace for land. It is unfortunate that Palestinians are starving because Israel closes its borders. But, Israel has to do what it has to to protect their people. Certainly, you don't blame Israel for that, do you?

No, you didn't. Forgive me if I implied that you did. There are others here who have, but you are not among them.
Yes, indeed.
I agree with you. The PLO has been much more willing to use terrorist tactics as a common approach. The State of Israel has not. I was referring to the few occaisions when they have. Israel must not resort to those tactics, not even in rarity. It weakens their credibility.
Yes, I do agree.
