You should PM me and I'll give you plenty of options on how to proceed. There are many avenues to go. You'll be a fine minister and I'd be happy to help out.
Any pastor wants to educate the prospective church on their views, especially in cases where the church just does not know. Not being forthcoming on them can split a church and or cause a forced resignation. When that happens the pastor is suffering from their own error.
To many times those issues do not get discussed in the interview process and it is a recipe fro disaster.
I don't believe that Tim would not disclose any of his beliefs.....he would rather be very forthcoming. And I wish he would take a hard look at northern NJ.
I have been very open about my theological proclivities. And I have had plenty of rejections because of it. I would love to plant a church... except I need $$$ to support myself and family in order to do so.
This is not true. Take a look at "The Timothy Initiative". It is a resource for church planting and discipling. It works well with the beginnings in a home study. You could very well start a new work without giving up your current income until it grows to the point that is is self sustaining.
I see well I do not run in those circles. I can suggest that because of Reformed Seminary in Orlando that there may be some churches close by. You might check with the Seminary and ask them if they know of any needing a pastor.
