1. I'm short too!

I'm 4 feet 10 inches tall. Partly heredity from my Dad's side.

Good Morning Jim! Thanks for getting the coffee started! I could designate you as 'Mr.Coffee', but then we would have to watch out for infringement rights.

I see Dan has his picture posted. Nice pic Dan!

Will have nine-year-old and 15-year-old grandson today. Trying to do some landscaping, gonna get some more outside work done while I've got some muscle here! :D

I'll have a cup of that coffee and a donut this morning, gotta have some energy!

Good morning folks! Hope you have a nice day ahead of you, and allow the Lord to shine through you for His glory.

    Nice pic Brother Dan!

Brother Blackbird, where are you roaming nowadays? I miss your colorful description of endeavors. ;)

Nancy, hope you remember that good things come in small packages!

Jim, be careful, for if it would be left to I Am Blessed 16, you would be called Mr. Cofee!

Sue, did you say that you are planning landscaping today with a 9 & 15 year old grandsons? Watch out! For if you let them loose they will rearange your landscape alright...

Thanks to Webmaster for puttin up my pic.

Thanks for the nice comments on the pic.

Now you can see that my son, Kelly, was pullin your legs when he said I was bald. I'll admit to balding, but when and if I lose it all - it won't bother me, I've never seen a bald man with dandruff!!

Blackbird - glad to be a help in proving that you exist!!

Oh yes, the background of the pic is a pile of gravel.

Appropriate for a construction engineer - don't you think? :D

Good Morning Barnabas, Ed and Dan!

Barnabas: Them younguns' is gonna learn how to use a shovel today! :D

Ed: Congrats on your new home and don't spill the coffee on your suit!

Dan: I wouldn't worry about it. It's a fact of life...it's either gonna turn gray or turn loose!

Dan! You're a good looking man! You've got LOTS of hair. That Kelly!

Sue, I bet that bathroom is cute! What colors did you use? We have one lighthouse bathroom with little boats, etc. all around.

Nancy, Our dil is 4'10". Our son is only 5'5" so they're a perfect match. His younger brother is almost 6'. Go figure! I'm short and prefer it. Our daughter is shorter than me!

Blackbird! Remember MONTHS ago when you said you were incognito and hiding from liberals? Well, I typed in your town and came up with the local churches and there was Brother David Crowe. LOL... Blackbird, Crowe.... But I kept your secret.

Barnabas? Don't you think Sue's coffee is superb? I've gone back to coffee since she's taken over! She's the perfect hostess! Good choice on your part!

Well all, I need to hop to it and get my chores finished. The tropical storm has either moved away or fizzled out but it's still overcast and very cool. Feels like fall and I LOVE it! I'm not one for hot summer days!

    Kissee, Kissee.

I was thinking...Kelly said his dad was bald, but how would he know? How tall is Kelly compared to his father? It is a nice photo, Dan..beards are in!

    Cheers,

    Jim

It's a good thing that male pattern baldness (which men get from their mothers) does not afflict you women folks too often - at least you women folk can take care of the gray with a bottle!!!

Good Morning Diane! I am so glad you like the coffee! I sure do enjoy having you stop by! The bathroom walls are white, floor tile is light blue (like the ocean). The accessories are in different shades of blue. Someday <sigh> we will build a second bathroom, that will probably be done in lighthouses.

    Until now........

    Good point Jim!!!

You men can do the same thing (if you have enough hair)! :D

Sue - true - but vanity about my hair is not where I am vain.

Jim - the kid is only 5' 9 3/4" - the old man is 6' 5 3/8". The only time he sees the top of my head is when he's on a ladder, or I a sittin down.

I've had the beard now for five or six years. It has cost me a lot of money to have it. Jan told me if I would pay her hairdresser's bill without complaining - I could keep the beard all year instead of just in the winter.

Every so often she tells me that I should shave, and I remind her of our deal!!

Of course, in the interest of honesty, when I walk in a store with a video cam and a tv monitor that you can see when you're in view of the camera - I usually look quite bald - but those are special cameras made to let us men look balder than we really are.

  15. dianetavegia Guest

Dan you are SO right about those cameras! They make me look older than I KNOW I look (LOL) and certainly not as thin and 'cool' as I know I AM.

LOL....... It's a ploy by the store to make us buy products that we really don't need. Don't you believe those camera's with those 'blind spots'. You've got lots of hair!

Diane, blackbird is just David Crowe's super hero name he uses when he is fighting crime (or trying to break into the Women's Private Forum ). It is like Clark Kent and Superman, except blackbird wears a John Deere green robe.

Diane---I'm known by another name in my home country--russa--its ok that the CIA, FBI, and every NAZI skin head knows me as Blackbird---but if the KGB ever finds out my "true" identity--I'm gonna take as many friends with me when I go!!! I cannot, must not, will not reveal to you or anyone else--my "Rusky" name!!!

Well I'm concerned for your safety Blackbird! The prohomo group is out for blood!

Have you considered the underground railroad? Possibly going into hiding until the heat is off?

Bring um ALL on! I'll look everyone of um straight in the eye just like I believe the Lord Jesus looked that adulterous woman square in the eye and proclamed, "Go, and sin no more!"--bear down on that last phrase, too!

I just wanted to say Hi to my buddy Blackbird. Hello old friend.

I am not happy with my life today. (Not expecting anyone to acknowledge that statement.) Depression is rearing it's dark ugly head. I probably will reflect this malaise in my words today if I post...please anyone who doesn't like me...just let it go. I'm really in a bad place right now. Thanks.
