Is Lsu a ladies college? Just kidding, of course.....
I have never been under a truck...under my garden tractor, but never a truck. I have been under a horse....does that count?

I don't know Jim. While you were under the horse did you install something to make it 3 inches taller?
-
Oh you lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
-
Actually, I fell off the horse in a jump and held tight to the rein...I ended up on the turf looking up to the belly of the horse. Should I have made an adjustment down there?....:tonofbricks:

Auburn-LSU was a good game.
Florida State and Clemson has been a very unusual game.
Wish I could have seen Oklahoma and Oregon play. The score kept going back-and-forth. Oregon won 34-33. -

Hey Preacher! Welcome back! :wavey:
Good morning all,
Busy day today between getting Shawna to work, church and getting Brent and all his gear back home from the festival, and fixing dinner, and picking Shawna up from work, and fixing supper, and going back to church......... Whew! I'm tired already!
Hope y'all have a great day!

Good Morning Everyone!
Hey Preacher! We've missed you and BH.
Whew Sue! You make me tired! We'll see you tomorrow. :D
Now for the rest of you folks: Get up and get ready for church! You're going to be late....... -
Good day to all!
I don't do much of anything on Sundays except maybe walkabouts.
Looking about, the trees are changing early this year. They may be pretty colours, but I know what follows; that white stuff. Snow blower is all tuned and ready to go,,,,,I still can't get wife trained to use it though.
Cheers,
Jim -
Good afternoon, BB!!!
Hope you all have a great day!!! :godisgood: -
Good morning all,
It is a crisp 47º here this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrr. I am NOT ready for cooler weather yet!
I have to make a trip to Wal-Mart this morning for more shipping supplies for my ebay store. I've sold over 50 items in the last four weeks, so I'm off to a pretty good start.
Also a trip to the grocery store is in order and then laundry and homeschooling. Brent has a Boy Scout meeting tonight and starts Spanish lessons Wednesday afternoon (a retired Spanish teacher is holding classes in her home).
Next week he starts homeschool P.E. at the YMCA once a week. And he has a teen activity at church every Thursday evening. Since I am the designated taxi driver, my life just keep getting busier and busier!!!
Time for coffee!
HAGD!

One inexpensive used taxi meter for sale........
Good morning everyone. Three more days and summer ends...enjoy it whilst it lasts.
It is clear here to-day, coolish, but warming up by suppertime..so they say.
I am just pottering around to-day. It is my day off,,lol
Cheers,
Jim -
Good Morning Everyone!
Jim, I think summer ended early even here. The leaves are already beginning to change on some of the trees and some are falling. I gauge this by the number I have to pull out of the swimming pool. In high summer there are almost no leaves at all. The sweet gum trees are what's turning here. I'm hopeful for a pretty fall. The last couple of years weren't so nice.
I've been busy this morning and somehow hurt my back. I didn't lift anything heavy nor did I bend the wrong way. It just slowly started aching until it turned into a full blown, go take something and sit down pain. So I'm sitting, hoping the medicine I took will kick in soon cause this hurts! I don't mind hurting so much when I know what I've done, but these surprise pains when I have better things to do are aggravating! -
Hi Y'all
We're having Revival services every night this week. And I'm trying to get things together to fly across the Country in a week and 4 days.
You may not see me much this week!! -
Gayla: Did I miss where you are going on your trip?
Cindi: Better watch that back. Been there!
Good morning all,
We have some colored leaves in our yard this morning as the wind was blowing quite hard all day yesterday. The temp this morning is 40º with an expected high of ONLY 60º.
Fall is not my favorite season because I know winter is coming. That stops me from enjoying it like I could otherwise.
Time for scrambled eggs, toast, and then school.
HAGD!

Good Morning Everyone!
My back is better and worse this morning. The muscle pain is better, meaning I can at least get up and down today without major pain. But, the true cause has shown itself this morning. I have degenerative disc disease which flares and settles according to it's own schedule no matter what it is I'm doing. Evidently, yesterday's weather front caused it to flare so now instead of feeling like I pulled a muscle, I am burning across my shoulders and down my arms as well as having the pain at the bad discs. If I follow my usual pattern I'll hurt a couple of more days and then be back to normal! :)
I've got nothing much planned today, except maybe clearing a path through the house and petting Chris and Cass who are home with migraines again (stupid weather!).
Evidently I didn't fix the hole in the fence quite as well as I thought yesterday cause Mishka was out running around this morning. I guess I'm going to have to concrete in the area that she keeps digging under. Makes me wonder if she's worth the trouble! ;) -
Good morning! I almost forgot to come here this morning. I spent most the morning in the village visiting, having coffee, visiting, having coffee,,did I mention visiting? Here it is 11:AM and I haven't had the computer on since 5:30 AM........I must be getting old!
We once fenced in some dogs, and we buried some wire below the ground at the foot of the fence. The beagles actualy walked up the fence and jumped over the 6 foot high fence. If they want out, they will go. Now we have no fences, but I did put them all through obedience class and they pretty much stay at home,,,at least within sight of the house. If I wanted them home, I start the truck and leave the door open..it only takes seconds for the lot of them to jump into the truck ready for a ride.
The obedience classes worked though..at least I stay at home when I should.
Cheers,
Jim -
Hi there,
Sue, we're going to Las Vegas!! -
I have one that digs under and one that jumps over. I'd let run loose too except the neighbors value their cats and there are leash laws here. They really don't go all that far, just a trip through the neighborhood down to the creek about twice a day. Cats are crimes of opportunity. :D
I tell you it has been quiet at my house today. Cass and Chris have been sleeping off their migraines and I laid down for a minute to rest my back and fell asleep too! I almost never sleep during the day. Up now and I've had lunch. Maybe I'll finish that path through the house. ;) -
Hi Gang,
Nothing of interest going on here. I got a nice card from a Church I visited up the road here from me, when my Church cancelled the service Sunday nite for the Labor day holiday. Was very nice of them. Although, that was one biiiiiig card lemmie tell ya, I could read the puppy on the other side of the room!
We had a Church work day last Saturday. We painted, trimmed shrubs, cut the grass. and various other stuff. I discovered muscles I'd forgotten about! :tongue3: Yesterday, me and another deacon from the Church went and picked up grass piles, that someone else didn't do... grrr... But it was a good time, and I came one, ran NAKED through the shower  and went on visitation. It was a fruitful visit. He promised to me in Church.
Other than that, not much else, still on the job hunt. Pray for me that I would get some sort of gainful employment. I'd like to take come college courses via corspondence, from Midwestern Baptist College. and looks don't get you very far! *grin*
Now off to a nap before supper! :sleeping_2:
