A burial at 8:45 at night? It is pitch black here.
A normal service here is about 30 minutes, with about 15-20 minutes at graveside.
The wake for two days and nights, regular visiting hours, and the burial happens on the 3rd day, usually.
Cheers,
Jim
Jim1999 said:What I found was that the family are usually numbed at the funeral, so I typed a copy of my sermon and gave to the family for reading at a later date. I made my first pastoral call after two weeks.
By that time, a lot of people stop calling, feeling they don't kow what to say, and the family are left all alone, abandoned.
Cheers,
Jim

I adjusted the recipes to the Triple Chocolate Bliss Cake, and Chocolate Cluster Peanut Butter Cake to make them Sugar-Free.
