Diane,

I like the forensic programmes too.

Yes, the frogs are fun. Do you not collect them anymore then?

I can't remember what else was in your post so I will take a look and maybe post again...

Diane, is ok, I thought I had missed something.

We don't allow cheating in this house. We have two Scrabble dictionaries. Anyone play Othello?

My figurines got broken in a move and I just didn't start back up. One was a lovely flower planter that looked so very real!

Othello... nope, haven't played it. I tried to find a game at Christmas that one of you had mentioned that was 'pigs'... you rolled the pigs and however they landed gave you a command. Not sure if Gwyneth or Jim was telling us???

Sheila...I saw you mention Othello somewhere else on the board (man, talking in the CH and playing games really messes up my mind!!), but I've never heard of it.

I haven't played Parcheesi in years. My favorite games are Scrabble, Uno, and I have Solitaire Antics on my computer...love that one!

Wasn't me about pigs Diane. Not that I remember anyway.

LOL, I have remembered what I wanted to say previously...
Years ago Rob carved a frog, it was very lifelike and I really loved it. We lent it to a friend who was opening up a shop called "Beautiful Things" because she wanted stuff to display...anyway after promising us she wouldn't sell it - she did. A chap in a Rolls saw it and ran into the shop and bought it , well, we got £50 for it. That was about 28 years ago, so it was quite a lot of money then.

C.J., we got some of the newer games for Christmas. Conga and Cadoo.... LOTS Of fun!

With both of them, you have to sculpt, act out or draw something.... Nick loves them!

I've only watched Cold Case once because it comes on before I get home from church; however, we have changed our Sunday night church schedule, so I will be able to watch it.

I love forensics shows...LOVED "Quincy" when it was on!! :D I watch Law & Order, and will watch Cold Case now that I can. "Columbo" wasn't forensics, but I liked it! Also "Matlock"!

CJ...

That isn't forensics as I understand it over here, that is what we call murder mystery. Forensics is the real, true life stuff with pm's and stuff.

Diane, probably not my thing if you have to "sculpt, act out or draw something"! I'm VERY left-brained...black and white, neat columns with things lined up, organized (except for my office!), NO creativity!!! But it's OK...God made me that way!! :D

The Discovery Channel has some REAL forensics but these shows you watch them 'do' forensics to solve the murder. I enjoy both! Used to collect blood during autopsy's in the hospital...

Sheila...you're right...I stand corrected!! "Cold Case" IS forensics as I understand it to be, but the others are murder-mysteries (which I obviously like also!) Did you get "Murder She Wrote" over there? Angela Lansbury. How about "Perry Mason"?

We used to play Bible Pictionary all the time. When it came my time to draw, the kids all laughed at me......no one could guess what I was trying to draw. I even confused myself!

We played Bible Trivia all the time too. And a game like LIFE only biblical (we won crowns)! I think we had over 40 board games at one time because we didn't watch TV in the evenings. We had our family devotions and then played games together.

§ue (who misses playing games) :(

I'm pretty artistic and like artsy type things. I think that might be why I enjoy the signatures so much. Black and white pages bore me. LOL

CJ...no problem. And yes, we STILL get them. I think we should know them all off by heart by now. Mind you, they are relegated to daytime tv.

CJ, I liked your idea but check your pm's please

Sue,

I searched everywhere for Campbells Soup Kids over here for the Christmas Swap pressie and had others looking to. We could find nothing, but we tried. I collect thimbles, owls and hexagonal boxes.

What does CJ collect then, apart from dust on her ceiling fans
