Those guys make me laugh. Think one is a troll (NO ONE can believe what he does) and the other just "ingerant".

Trying to be gentle. Ed is doing yeoman work to keep an even keel.

You told us to edit if we find mistakes, Dr. Bob, but I wanted to make sure you really mean 'ignerant' instead of 'ingerant'. Maybe I'm reading something into your post......???? LOL

Dan! Got your postcard---I'd like to play in the snow for about 30-45 minutes(get it all out of my system) then go back inside and see how hot I can get the coffee!!!

Forcasters and almanic doesn't say much about any kind of snow here in Dixie this year!!! About the middle of February we'll start getting some 80 degree weather---that'll feel good!!

Your Southern Baptist preachin', weather almanicin' buddy,

Yo, Dan! (Always wanted to say that since watching a Rocky movie in another life.

Yo, Diane! Ingerant is the 4th grade spelling of ignorant. That one was intentional.

And I am dead serious to all. My fingers simply do not do what I ask and it is getting uglier every day. So if I make a "fox paw" somewhere that counts PLEASE feel free to zap the post or edit it or call it to my attention.

I've gone 55 years trying to build up an image that I might actually know a little, then misspell typos all over and look like the new dude that can't find the shift key! :D

Diane, I'm going to pray for you. I thought Jim had a job offer that he accepted. I should read back through the last coffee shop.

Cinnamon bread and tea... that might help while we wait on the Lord. All things work together... and they WILL. [IMG]

Note to anyone interested in music - I've started 6-7 threads on the music forum to try to lift it out of the doldrums. If you'd like to add your two cents to any, nows a great time.

It's not that I don't like rock/ccm genre of course. I don't even dislike it. I DETEST IT and am trying to elevate discussions above that level for a while.

Good Morning to you. Did the gales keep you awake during the night too?
    I will look in later.

    Good morning all:

Yo back to you Dr. Bob!!
Yo to you Ed - welcome back to the coffee house - hope you stay for a spell! [IMG]

Blackbird - I sent a snow postcard to you so you could see what you're missin - by bein a southerner! [IMG]

I hesitate to say this - because I wouldn't want to send out postcards to all 5000+ members of BB - but if you would like a postcard from me - showing Canisteo's world fameous living sign - PM me your address.

Southerners get a snow card of the sign - northerners get a summer card of the sign - all in the interest of making everyone happy during this time of the year!

Foreigners get whatever I feel like sending!

I have no idea what I'd send Dr. Bob - cause he seems to brag just how easy his winters are in Wyoming!

Dan - it snowed here again - last night!

    Hello to you all,

It is cold here and windy, but not as windy as during the night.

Roger, how was church this morning?

    Blessings

Good Morning Dr. Bob, Sheila and Roger! I slept well but had funny dreams all night. Camping outside by a fire and a bear (looked like a bear costume) was standing over me. We chased him with water balloons and were giggling..... Funny!

Nick is being baptized this morning. He's a little nervous. Said his tummy was feeling weird so we had oatmeal for breakfast. That'll calm down that tummy! Two other kids from his S/S class are being baptized today too so that should also help.

I have a concern. I have to leave my Sunday School class a little early today to meet with the Pastor who will baptize the kids and in another part of the building. I've tried contacting my extended session helpers for this week but could only leave a message at one house. I'm very concerned about leaving my 4 year olds with the lady who is my helper. She's a very angry type person and I have a couple of children who are terrified of her. For those who see this before church, please pray for this situation. I don't want the children upset or unsafe. I already have a couple who won't come to Sunday School now because of her. We're trying to find a replacement and figure out how to move her to another 'job' without offending. Her son has a few ideas..... but we need a replacment first and for this to be done quietly!

Boy Howdy, and "bragging" about Wyoming is about all the fun we have!

26F and winter storm warning here. Have only an inch of new snow with a few more coming, then the wind will pick up and make things ugly for driving.

So not able to drive to Buffalo this morning. Son and fam are moving soon (new job) and this is a big "baby dedication" and "farewell" at his church. Will miss it. We had planned a big day and it is disappointing . . :(

I know the "disappointmemt" feeling. Sadly, we had no one in church this monring. We have had a good little group, but one family moved and another went back to their works based church after I preached through Galatians (?). Another had a job interview today, etc.

We are grateful for our children's ministries!

Been there, Roger. Did a church plant in 1990 on the Indian Reservation about 125 miles west of Casper. Drive, call, visit, "camp out" in building (used a cot and sleeping bag; stoke a wood burning stove), then have NOBODY show up and drive home through snow and blowing. Ugh.

Pray for ANYONE doing such a difficult work as you, Roger.

p.s. The church did come back with children and teen outreach. Soon families came and now the church is functional (although still small)
