Tony, prayed just now that the Lord would show favor in this and that the appraisal will be finished today and high enough for it to be approved and DONE. We've been through that ourselves. Also prayed Vivian is healing from her bronchitis and sinus infection, for your move to go smoothly and safe driving back and forth.

Thanks, Diane. I think that all the stress over the past couple of days was what made my blood sugar go so low. I had forgotten to eat and it dipped low enough for me to nearly go into insulin shock. To tell you the truth it left me quite disoriented, and I posted two posts that Sue had to close...LOL! Vivian is doing somewhat better today, poor sweetie she is! Today is her last day of work for the year, and she said she's going to catch up on some sleep tomorrow. I can't blame her. She needs it after working nearly all of Decmember straight without a break!
Thanks for the prayers. Time to eat something. Blood sugar is low again. Duh...doc said if it keeps up, I've got to go to his office tonight.
Guess I'll put off working on the manuscript for today and do some packing. -
Mind your blood sugar. It is the most important thing you can do as a diabetic. Eat small regular meals and don't miss them for anything. A diabetic coma is not a pleasurable experience, and you could end up with strokes as did I.
Cheers,
Jim -
There is nothing worse than a low blood sugar. I'd rather be a little on the high side if I had to choose. I have gotten so busy I forgot to eat, too, and then there you are, needing some OJ or whatever quick. Hate the disorientation.
Actually, there is one thing worse than a low. That's the headache after a day of being on the blood sugar roller coaster - high, low, high, low. Do take care.
Diane, did you find that present yet? My MIL used to do that all the time. My husband and his brothers would find stuff in February, wrapped and all!
Sue, how's the car? -
Thanks, Jim and Debby. I have been pretty stable on blood sugar for nearly a year. But this house thing and the appraiser has just thrown me for a loop, I guess, and then the hospitalization a few months back for blood loss. It's been sort of up and down since. I'm watching it really closely today, as I was yesterday.

Good Morning all!
I am somewhat better this morning except for my arthritis has decided to flare up. I had to break down and take something for it. Bitsy is feeling better as well. Hopefully the benedryl plus the zyrtec is helping her. I think we'll try that combo for a few days and see how it works. Today she is hungry! She's already had two bowls of cereal and a bologna sandwich and she's only been up an hour and a half!
Diane, I have a present lost in the house as well. T came in the day after Thanksgiving with my father's present and gave it to me. I have't a clue as to what I did with it. I have to put it on the list of things to get done today. I know you'll find Nick's.
AVL, I'll pray for both your sugar problems and your appraiser trouble. House buying is stressful all the way around.
I have to go get started. First on the list this morning is to make a purse for one of Precious' friends. See ya! -
It sure is quiet here today. Several on vacation. The whole back office is off. My office is the last office one on the left. I feel like I'm in a library after hours. Think I'll go out in the field and see if I can't find someone's cable to cut off.
-
Don't come to IL Gib. If you cut MY cable off, I won't be able to post on the BB!
-
I'm hoping to get satellite service, both for TV and cable, out at the house. I'll probably have to use dial up for internet for a few months. I'm just hoping there are some local numbers there. I sure don't want to have to change ISP's again!
-
We haven't moved in 33 years, Dad says it would take us at least 6 months to pack if we ever needed to tmove again!
Tony, continuing to pray for you blood sugar and other stuff. -
The card Jim sent me can be viewed here:

Thanks Sheila, and for the reference,,I didn't know where to find it. The photo copied rather well. You did a good job. The golden lab is Coco and the black figure behind is Shadow, the black German Shepherd we rescued just a year ago.
Cheers, and again, thanks,

Sam helped me. I don't know what he did different but the scanner worked for him whereas it didn't for me. So sorry it took so long.
God Bless
Sheila -
Sheila, The important thing is that you and Rob got the card.....................again, thanks.
Cheers,
Jim
Mary made the card on her computer -
Great card, Jim! Sheila, thanks for sharing!
-
Now that's some snow! That's a big dog. Looks like it could nibble mine up in one chomp.
-
This is a very nice card. I love the scenery and the dogs.
-
Wow! JIM1999, What a lovely scene! I can only imagine. Is it so quiet you can hear the snow flakes land? Nick asked me to reopen the picture so he could look at it again! WOW!
Good News! Jim got home early and found the missing present. LOL. He had it in plain sight but in a small box something else came in. I never would have thought to look in there. He'd taped it shut and put it on top of his speakers in our bedroom to be wrapped. We searched for hours before he remembered. He said we'd better wrap things right away in coming years instead of hiding things.

Well, just talked to the loan officer and the realtor. The loan officer said that the appraisal was done, and the owner of the appraisal company promised to have it to them by 5pm central. The realtor said as soon as it's in, he will have us sign the few days lease and we can start moving....as long as the appraisal is correct. It should be. Thanks to all those who've been praying!
