WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE

commonlogo.jpg

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies and homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

Boo!

Bet you didn't know I was going to say that, did you? Or say anything, for that matter. Well, MargoWriter is back. You can all start the party. :D

Anyway, I'm back from my sabbatical away from the BB. What took me away is slightly irrelevant now. And since lots of changes are in the wind for me, and since I missed you guys (heh), I've decided to touch base again and fill you in!

After going home around the 4th of July, I found out just how tired I was of my current job and how ready I was for something different. I'd kind of been looking for something else off and on, but with no success.

Recently I put up a profile on the largest nanny/au pair web site in existence, and a little while later received a call from a Christian lady in Greenville who needs a nanny for her twin baby girls! This is something I have kind of wanted to do for some time but hadn't had the opportunity. I interviewed with the family about a week later and they offered me the job, so I'll be starting in September.

Most of you probably don't know, unless you are also a frequenter of either spurgeon.us or ccukchat, that lately I was really struggling just to make it through each day, and was beginning to wonder if things would ever get better. A lot of people were praying for me, and this change is a huge blessing from the Lord!

I have missed you all, and am glad to be back, and up and running with a password that I can remember. LOL I'll be moving and beginning my new job the first of September, so I'd appreciate prayers for me as I take care of the details of changing local again, and as I make the transition.

Loves ya. How are you all?!

Hi Megan and welcome back! Yes, you were missed.

I'm sure you'll like your new job (even if blackbird thinks tending two kids is a 'gravy' job)! Obviously, he has never raised any.. Harumph!

I am off to do some much needed house cleaning and rearranging.

HAGD!

Good morning everyone!

Welcome back Margo!

Blackbird, don't go threatening the poor thing, her first day back. ;)

Nice and warm here today. Supposed to only get into the low 90's. Tony, you must live to far north, cold in the winter and HOT in the summer. The Heart of Dixie is quite pleasant at the moment and I have the pool all to my self.

Precious asked me this morning if I were going to have a party today after they all went to school. Like summer left this house in any shape that needs to be seen by anyone outside the family! So instead I will be cleaning and sewing and have a swim just before going to pick them up so my hair is wet and they'll really think I've been up to something while they were gone. :D

Back to school? What part of the world starts school on August 11th? Think we will be on Coffee House 86 or 87 by the time school begins!

But then, Sue will have her Halloween decor up. Or maybe Thanksgiving!

Boy howdy to all this Thursday morning. My new laptop came and we are TRYING to transfer over all my documents/email, etc. Ugh

7.1 gig compacted and doing it over the airwaves without wire. Double ugh.

Megan, glad to see you're back! I was wondering what had happened to you.

MK, we're just about an hour S of Nashville. It gets quite warm here, and usually the winters are very, very mild and bearable. The weather has been so strange the past two years though.

School begins up in Rutherford County on Monday. I believe it's already started here in Bedford County.

Dr. Bob, I can't remember what kind of laptop you said you were getting. Was it a Dell or something else?

We've been schooling for 11 days today so 9 down and 171 to go. LOL. It's going well except it does take me an awfully long time because the Youth Minister's 7 year old cannot concentrate and we've taken her off meds for ADD. Tuesday's classwork for her took an hour less than Monday tho. When I'd see her staring into space, I'd just say 'Do you work, Kelsey'.

Nick has an easy day of work today. Seems like about once a week the BJU pages are short and sweet. We used to be on a schedule so that they seemed to fall on Friday but I had some chores to do early this a.m.; Cleaners, Kid's day at the Barber shop ($7.00 on Thursday), CVS to pick up allergy meds for Nick, etc. so this has worked out well.

Two are in the sandbox. Scooter is back inside resting from his romp with the toddlers, Brayden is down for his morning nap and Nick's schooling. Kelsey won't come until around 2:30 so Ty won't be exposed to her Chicken pox. He'll go down for his nap right before she arrives.

Dr.B.: You DO lead a sheltered life don't you?

Schools have been starting the fall session since August 1st. It just depends on where you go to school.

Illinois schools don't start until right after Labor Day so I am not starting Brent's PACES until then either.
