Hope everyone stays safe, and guess I wouldn't want a hurricane coming at me, but honestly, we could use some rain where I live! It's extremely hot and dry with the same forecast for quite some time. No rain...just hot and dry!

We just finished emptying all the containers and it started raining again! 
It's been a long and tiring day. I'm going to bed so I don't have to hear all the drips.
It looks like we will be relocating to a new Coffee House tomorrow.

I just have to share my good news. I got a call from an insurance company today. They had a wrong number, but I listened to their offer and I think they can really save us a great deal of money on all our insurance, house and auto. We will be checking into it further. Isn't it wonderful when a wrong number turns out to be the right number?

How many of you would be willing to send an old #10 can or garbage bucket or bed pan to help Sue?
Nah, don't think that would be good either. And we CAN'T pray the rain stops; her area of Illinois is still way deficient in precip for the year.
Maybe some goldfish?

I'm stopping in while watching a back episode of Law and Order relaxing and enjoying a quiet evening. Well, I guess it's getting close to night. It's 10:57 pm or 2257 in miliary time. It's been a very good day. And, I tell you as bad as July was for us. August has proved to be awesome except Finantially. I'm hoping that will be solved in the next few weeks. It's just getting from here to there that is the pain isn't it? It's always that way. You think you know then you don't, then you have to move something there to pay something here. UGH! Sometimes it really gets on ones patience.

It is cloudy, humid and rain is supposed to be coming this way today!

Well, we found out for sure that the church's name is going to be Faith Community Church, and that we are, Lord willing, going to be doing the paperwork necessary this coming week and the week following. Most have voted to stay in the SBC in the preliminary stages and committee's, and I believe all members will vote to be SBC and not Independent Baptist.
Gayla, I have no doubt about where the Lord wants us. He surely has given us a peace about this. It was such a blessing to see people coming to Christ, an attitude of love and forgiveness and even prayers be raised up for the previous church. I was chastized as acting pastor of Midland for praying for the group who had departed, but God told us to pray for them, and I let the whole church know so. If they felt that this new church was their enemy, then they were to still be praying for them. But, they are far from being the enemy...For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places! (Eph 6:12) They still rebuffed us for it! So, the Lord clearly pointed out in Matthew 10 what we had to do! Praise the Lord!

Dr. B.: You don't know how welcome those extra cans and pans would have come in yesterday!!!
I have no idea how long it will take for everything 'inside' to dry out or how long it will take before the wood on the roof will be dry enough to finish roofing - but it is a mess!
We also used OSB instead of plywood. We're praying it didn't get wet enough to swell. All we need is to have to rip that out and replace it AGAIN...
I am going to work on a new Coffee House. It should be up shortly.
