Nice building - certainly could do without the snow.
Though - I can't complain about the weather - it's going to be in the 40's again today!
Sue - turn down the thermostat - use yourself as the furnace today - no sense wasting all the extra heat!

Good Morning All.
It's back to the doctor with Son this morning. He's been running a low grade fever and complainin of stomach pain that is as bad as his migraine. I'm worried that he has something going on besides a simple migraine. Sometimes a migraine will precede illness with him. Find the underlying illness and the migraine will take care of itself.
Hopefully this visit won't take 4 hours like they do sometimes.
I'll see ya'll later.... -
Thanks, everyone, for your prayers for my family. My dad has a dr appointment today to find out what stage he is in. Since he had a brother to die of leukemia a few years ago, we are especially concerned. I'll let you all know what the Dr. says.
The hardest part was telling my 2 sons. They are especially close to their Pop.
Thanks so much.
The LORD is my strength and my shield! -
Gwen, I'll be remebering your Dad too.
Hello to all, haven't been in for a couple of days. Been so tired from work I'm starting to wonder if something isn't wrong.
Sue, BH has took a night or two off too, she's doesn't seem to be doing too well herself right now. She's all mopey, just don't know whats wrong. If I take her out to play she'll act fine for awile, then it's like she's wore out & will just lay on the back of my chair or in my lap. If Agee get's her she will grab Agee's thumb with her front paws, pull it next to her & go to sleep. Agee said today while I was at work she laid on top of her box ALL day. But she did act a little excited when I came in. I've been getting in too late in the evenings to call anyone but I will try to get ahold of someone tomorrow. Don't know what I'll do if something happens to her.
Agee's supposed to have Monday off so I may call into work & take off too, & mabey we can spend a day in Greensboro together. We don't get much, if really any time alone with jerry living with us. I figured up one day that with him moving in & out(mostly in) over the last 5 years we've had 9 months to ourselves. But...thats another story.
Well it's not too long fore' I go to get my Honey, so I'll try to check in later & hopefully BH will fill like roaming tonite. -
Evening all,
I sure hope BH takes care of the Shop tonight because I am still sick.
I'm not even going to bed. I'm going to sleep on the couch.
Pleasant dreams all!

MK, let us know what the doctor said!
preacher, I wonder if BH needs something in his diet that he's not getting. Squirrely Facts I would have never thought they eat fruit..but, with him being indoors and not in the sunlight like a normal squirrel, maybe he needs extra vitamin D or something. Maybe give him some cheerios? -
It is hard to imagine so much snow in a place, I know I shoud not be so naif, Dr Bob has posted snowy photos of his backyard in the past...but.... my o my.
Lotsa rain again here, it is very humid but reasonably cool (under 30C)
-
Biggest snow I ever saw was back in the winter of 69, Manassas, Va.
Snow was almost 3 foot with drifts over 6 foot. We built igloos in our backyard that year.
Not sure if it snows in Mississippi. -
Mornin Gang,
BH was sleeping all nite but everthing here seems to be in order.
I brought everyone a surprise this morning, some of Agee's humongus biscuts & chocolate gravy. Hey! Try it....you'll like it! But get it while the biscuts are still hot!
Gina I give BH lots of fruit & her cage is situated in a livingroom window where she catches the sunrise every morning, just because I don't get to take her outside a lot, or for a long period anyway. She LOVES cheerios'!!
Agee says she's just wanting a boyfriend!I told her I'm keeping all boys away from my baby, I know what kinda animals they can be!!
It's about 48-50 outside rite now & calling for rain. Just took Agee to work & will proably go snooze some more. Enjoy the gravy & biscuts!! -
(Chocolate gravy preacher? Hmmmmm...)
Good morning all,
I got a good night's sleep and seem to be feeling better. PTL!
It is in the 30's here and should stay in the 30's/40's all week-end and most of next week. We had rain yesterday and a spattering of snow last night. This morning we have a thin sheet of ice covering everything.
I'm still going to take it easy today and since Brent is gone, it will be much easier.
Dale will have surgery, January 31st, to change the battery in his defibrillator. It is scary for me since I lost my late husband during heart surgery in 1973. Please keep him in your prayers.
Surfing,

Good Morning Everyone!
Gina, the doc gave poor Son a couple of shots. One for the migraine and one to keep the migraine shot from hurting his stomach worse than it is. Then he gave us a perscription for adult strength Prevacid. It seems as if he has two different problems going on. The migraine is a problem all of its own, but often comes with stomach pain(called stomach migraines and some kids get these without having head pain). Then we have some acid reflux going on that we had gotten settled down, but last weeks virus aggravated. I kind of figured on both, so this wasn't really a surprise.
Unfortunately, the pain shot for the migraine didn't break up the attack and he is back in pain this morning. The stomach meds are beginning to work and I think when we get it settled down we'll have better luck getting rid of the migraine.
 I got up at the break of dawn this morning, intending to start straightening the house before basketball. I thought I was getting up about 6. It was actually 7.
It is pouring rain. The skies are so dark that it is just now fully light and it's 8. Lovely day to be out and about(not).
Sue, I'm glad you're feeling better. Will be praying for you and Dale.
Time to get moving!

Update on Baby Sean Michael:
We went to the hospital last night. The doctors told us that Sean Michael is paralyzed from the waist down, and there is nothing they can do to reverse it.
We knew that this news might be coming, but it's still hard to deal with.
Thankfully, there seems to be no mental impairment, or other physical disability. The doctors are encouraged by Sean Michael's upper body strength (his grip primarily). This is good because he will certainly need upper body strength to compensate for not being able to walk.
Thanks to everybody for all your prayers, concern, and encouragement. They mean a lot.
Rob -
Hello all.
How is it possible that such a pretty little girl can make such a stinky dirty mess in her diaper? -
I'm so sorry to hear about little Sean, Rob. God must have big plans for this little boy.

Good Afternoon everyone:
Am praying for all situations mentioned here on the forum. It was rainy here this morning, but is clearing up a bit.
We had our prayer and business meeting last night and it seemed to be very productive. We believe the Lord has led Faith Community to continue on and the people were told there would have to be more commitment from them or the church would be forced to dissolve. One lady who is a charismatic who is in the church was not in favor of us going on but wanted us to go back and rejoin with the church we left, but that was explained to her nicely at first, and then we had to get blunt with her. It wasn't pleasant, but it helped her to better understand the situation and how she was being used as a pawn by the other church. The visit she got from the other church was not "of God" as she had believed. They had her address on file, and it wasn't by happenstance that the deacon who split the church visited her that night. It was planned, and it was very evident. I think she better understands how he is trying to "divide and conquer". Either way, the Lord will let them learn, or lead them to leave. They are more than welcomed to stay and are loved by all in the church.
So, for the time being, the Associate pastor is going to be the interim, and I am taking the Adult SS and Wednesday night adult Bible studies over.
Praise the Lord that the people wanted and believed that God would have us continue. It was a blessing to my heart to hear the conversations last night, even the one dissenting.
God bless ya'll today and have a great Lords Day tomorrow.

A split is never easy, i'll be remembering. I've preached in churches that had gone through this, that isn't easy either.
I came by to retreive BH this morning & gonna have to dust the place...where is everybody?
Oh..I SEE someone enjoyed the chocolate gravy!! -
Good morning all,
Thanks for dusting, preacher. I just haven't been 'up to snuff' the last few days.
Tony, glad your church is staying together.
Cindi, I pray that Son is better this morning. BTW; what is his real name?
It is in the 30's this morning and dry. I believe we are to get some rain this week. We need a lot of rain or snow to offset the drought from last year.
Coffee is fresh and tea is brewing. Have some fresh donuts.

They look like Krispy Kremes. All of the KK's here closed up overnight not too long ago.
Are they still around anywhere else?
