I had a few problems at first with the new software but it all seems to be working now.
I did lose all PMs but that is not a big deal to me.

Time was all 1969 when I first logged on but it is back to current now.

As far as getting used to the software, just wait. You will like it once you get used to it.

When I upgraded my computer to Mac OS X a few years ago from Mac OS 9 I missed a lot of featured at first until I realized you could still do them, only in a BETTER way.

I think that will be what we see with this.

As far as I can tell everything is working great now.

BTW, the weather was cool here in Indy today. well sort of, it is 87 but it feels better than it has.

    Thanks!

A friend of mine is a professional wedding photographer and I help him a lot with his computer and I also did some recording for his gospel group so he gave me a great deal, otherwise I would have never been able to afford such good photography.

Another friend of mine (another techie) gave me the website as a wedding gift but I haven't done much with it yet.
When I get around to it I may even put a quicktime video of out wedding on there.

    Thanks Gwen!

    Good night folks...

I am heading for bed. I've had 2 grandsons since yesterday (both 12) and I'm having 9 for lunch tomorrow. I did laundry today and got all the 'picnic' dishes washed.

    Pleasant dreams all!

Sue, did I miss something? Where did you obtain nine 12 year old grandsons? ;) :D

Puff, puff, I've been to karate and then come home and cooked supper (that twice this week) and now I'm tired. I think I'll follow Sue's example and head to bed!

    Night ya'll!

    Morning!

got up a 5 because we are out of clothes and I was still too pooped yesterday to care. At least we'll have something to chose from now

Today is my last teaching day. It snuck up on me with all that's been going on this month. I could do a jig!

    Morning all:

It was quite foggy this morning, and still is a bit. I'm hoping it will be burning off soon. It's 70 here this morning and muggy.

I'm going to go back to bed and try to get some sleep. Didn't get to sleep much last night. I had to go to the spare bedroom to try and sleep. The bed is far firmer there than the one in the master bedroom. I helped a bit with the pain in my back and legs, but, I still couldn't sleep comfortably,. By the time I got to sleep, it was time to get up to see Vivian off to work.

If ya'll get a chance, please, remember my sis-in-law (Viv's sister) in prayer today. She's just found out that she's going to have to move again, and is losing her trailer that she just tried to buy. Since her divorce from her ex, she has lost her house, her condo, her apartment, and now, her trailer. She said that the Dept of Social Svcs wants to put her in the projects. In Pittsburgh, that's not a good thing. We're trying to talk her into moving down here with us. There is more work, and she would be able to get a little more ahead than she is in Pittsburgh.

Well, hope ya'll have a great day! :wavey:

    Good Morning!

Cindi: I only have 5-12 year olds. :tongue3:

But I am having 9 family members for lunch today. :flower:

It rained during the night and is supposed to rain for the next few days. It has cooled off from the nineties down to the eighties, but it sure is humid!

The boys were already up watching cartoons when I woke up this morning.

    Time for coffee,
    §ue ;)

    Good Morning Everyone!

Today will be spent shopping and sewing and generally trying to get ready to leave this weekend. I've been looking over Jenna's clothes and wellllll, she doesn't really have any. Usually she gets everyone's handmedowns, but now the ones who have been handing down are WAY bigger than she is. Sigh. It's taken me since Christmas to get Cassie reoutfitted after she decided to lose 15 pounds and 2 sizes.

And Chris, well we had to laugh, Monday when my friend was over Chris decided to wear his favorite pair of jeans that were showing wear at the corners of the back pockets. That is to say they had holes you could stick a finger through. But since he wears his shirts long and these folks are family, I didn't pay him any attention. Until....after getting off the trampoline and coming in the house I noticed that one of those little holes had turned in a tear all the way down the side of the back pocket! And he hadn't noticed. LOL! I told him he had airconditioning going in the back of his pants. You should have seen him run, backwards, to get out of those jeans!

Before all that I have to either convince T to stay home today or get him off to work. I really want him to take the day off cause he needs some things too and Saturday is cutting it awfully close to our trip. So far I haven't convinced him.

Ah well, let me go see what else is going on around the BB.

    See ya!

Here is is after 12 and I am just getting up. I have strange sleeping habits.

I took the liberty to call Juan Valdez and ask him to deliver some fresh coffee from the mountains of Columbia (sorry about the hoof prints in the hallway, but the burro had never been on the BB before).

I also called the Krispy Kreme Kompany and they delivered 8 dozen boxes of assorted doughnuts (Sue, yer cake doughnuts are on the counter next to the sink).

Again, sorry about the mud on the carpet. The KK truck parked off the driveway so as not to hit the mule we put in the driveway. Unfortunately, they parked over the septic tank and began sinking. When they tried to move it, we had a mess. One then came in to call the tow truck.

The broken window happened when a part flew off of the KK truck's bumper and ricocheted off the tow truck and hit the house.

Oh well, in every thing give thanks...

... Enjoy the dougnuts and coffee!

    Hello All,

This new set-up is taking some getting used to, ain't it?

Tony, sounds like S-i-L moving to TN may be a good idea. She has definitely been having a hard time.

Cindi, we're going to Oklahoma for a week in 4 1/2 weeks, and I have realized I don't have any clothes. Ereryone else is in pretty good shape, tho.
Wesley could use some pajamas. My mother made them some jammies last year, and was going to have some made up when we got there, but her sewing machine has given up the ghost.:tear:
She's only had it for 35 years, and those repair people say they can't get parts can you believe that?!?:tongue3:

    Have fun, Sue!

Thanks for the doughnuts, SFiC!:wavey: :wavey:

SFIC, thanks for the coffee and doughnuts! There wouldn't be any creme-filled, chocolate-iced doughnuts, would there?:tongue3: My favorite!!

Did you hear the real Juan Valdez is retiring? He has been the spokesman for Colombian Coffee for over 30 years, and he said the schedule and travel were getting to be too much. Heard it on the Today show this a.m.

It's time to start dinner. See ya'll later.

Boy, SFIC, I'm sure glad we have insurance for the CH with you bringing the donuts!

When it comes to Krispy Kreme, I'll have glazed please. We have never had a Krispy Kreme around here, so it is a real treat when I get one!

Juan Valdez wouldn't have such a tiring schedule if he would fly instead of riding that mule all over the country and tearing up people's front yards!

This is the first time I've had to 'relax' in seven days and it sure does feel good. I had a wonderful time with everyone here, but it's good to get back to 'normal' too.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Mornin' guys!

Here it is -- the end of the school year and I've had two days in a row that I've gotten up at 5. I certainly hope this is not a sign of things to come for the summer!

Coffee's perked and might good though. Counter is already wiped down, so mind those donut crumbs.

Tony, I hope you slept better last night.

Today is exams! yeah! Tomorrow is ending chapel! double yeah!

Well, they have finally caught up to me. I have been banned from the men's private forum!

Has anyone seen Brother Barnabas? I notice his name gone from the few forums he administered, and I haven't seen a post since the new board set up....Cheers, Barnabas, wherever you are.

It rained all night here, and that is quite welcome. It just proves the theory; water one's garden plot with carried pails of water and it will surely rain......I think that is a proverb from somewhere.........

    Cheers,

    Jim
