Since communion symbolizes the Jesus body, given for us, and his blood shed for remission of our sins, I am not offended by the use of a variety of elements to symbolize communion.
When I went on a week long canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northeast Minnesota, our group of Christians celebrated communion using orange kool-aid and pieces of granola. In such a serene and pristine environment, surrounded by nature, I cherish that time of communion with God and my Christian brothers and sisters. -

Passover was taken with wine , not grape juice , Christ fulfilled the law he did not break it ! no leaven for me in the bread or the cup. Wine is the true type of the Blood of Christ from the Old to the New . JOHN 2:3-4 " And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.'' 4vs " Jesus saith unto her her , Woman what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.'' Christ answered to wine , the next time he called her Woman he was on the cross John 19:26'' ..........Woman behold thy son !" His hour had come and he fulfilled Genesis 49:11
“Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:” Elder Slone
