Anyone have any thought on the Comparative Study Bible? What's it's purpose and how can one get best benefit?

First, if at least one of the translations is known to be mostly literal, then the others can be easily observed as to how closely they render the scripture. Second, if the versions have different underlying texts (TR, MT, and CT in the New Testament for example) then those difference may be readily noticed with a quick comparison. Generally, these differences don't exist in the OT. Finally, if a particular version's rendering is not easily understood, a glance at the neighboring versions often will assist in the interpretation of the first.
