Barack Obama insists that he and his staff were not involved in the alleged schemes Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich cooked up to sell off the president-elect's vacant Senate seat.
But the timeline of activity outlined in the FBI's 76-page complaint against Blagojevich suggests Obama's team was aware that his home-state governor was playing political hardball in the weeks before his arrest.
That's because shortly after Blagojevich allegedly told his advisers, in an expletive-laced conference call, that he would not appoint Obama's pick to the Senate absent huge favors in return, Obama's apparent pick promptly dropped out of the running for the Senate and joined the new White House staff.

Catching wind of something does not constitute involvement.

The point here is what did he know, when did he know it and why did he not speak up.

Then evidence mounts.
Obama better hope he doesn't have to testify under oath.
His lies won't go over so well under the threat of perjury.

If Barack knew about it, why should he have spoiled what the federal prosecutor had well under control?

That he's lying about his knowledge of what his buddies, the govenor and his chief of staff, were doing.
Nixon could tell him the cover up can hang you up quicker than the crime.

Have you read the OP?
Definite proof that there is evidence that Obama is lying.
There is more, but I suspect none of it will matter to you.

The OP has a link to a Fox News story.
Fox News isn't exactly the gold standard for objective reporting.

So it is your position that Obama knew about the investigation and because of that he stayed silent on this issue? Is there a source for this?

So it is your position that Obama knew about the investigation and because of that he stayed silent on this issue? Is there a source for this? And it is an established fact that Obama knew about the Ill Gov prior to his arrest.

Lots of people knew that Blagojevich was a bad character. David Broder in his editorial, Long Path to a Fall in Illinois makes this quite clear.
In Blagojevich's second term, it got worse. He became enmeshed in a bitter feud with the Democratic leadership of the General Assembly, especially House Speaker Mike Madigan. While problems festered unattended, no budget could be passed. On a visit to the Lincoln Library in Springfield, I was told by leaders of both parties that "this is the worst" they had ever seen.
Republicans or Democrats, they readily confessed that their heartfelt prayer was that something would occur to rid them of Blagojevich.

I expect Fox News to be as objective as The Nation .
We should read both just to see the extremes and misinformation or tainted information, but we should take neither very seriously until we have checked additional data points.

An established fact that Barack knew what about the governor?
I know you, Pastor Mitchell, so if you break the law does that mean that I am guilty of something?

I expect you, carpro, to believe without questioning just about anything that a right-wing organization such as Fox News says.
In this thread, you did not fail to meet my expectation.

Proof that there is evidence that Obama had some knowledge of the governor's activities has been provided.
Sorry you deliberately missed it.:tonofbricks:
You have scrambled from
which nobody has disagreed with to
Your efforts are pitiful and you can't seem to stay on track, even up to and including inventing statements to defend against and points no one has made.
Hyper defensive might be a good description.
Why are you so frightened your messiah might be implicated?

I am not the least bit concerned that anyone will ever implicate my Messiah, Christ Jesus, of wrongdoing.
