It is impossible because He is Holy, and could thus never desire to do it...not because He lacks the power.

How about we come to a common ground and all agree that "God cannot willingly sin?" Ok?
Or we could just go with Luke's view and say that He can and does do the "DEED," but it's not really sin if he does it for the right motive? -

:rolleyes:, JesusFan clarified a fallacy. That is saying God “could” do something against His nature “if” He wanted to. God is Truth; therefore He “cannot” do something that is not in Truth. It is like the fallacy of suggesting God is able to make a rock so big even He can't lift it.
