    The Jews have a long history of coping with the world at large. I admire their stressing higher education, their adaptability, their cleverness. But their stubbornness and at times arrogance to things NOT Jewish is a point of contention with me. My own Primitive Baptist culture shares one important fact, we are both persecuted so it’s not my place to criticize them. Still I do not approve of punitive violations doled out to the innocent and it will go badly for the Jews which they already are aware of.

    Perhaps the point of contention comes about from a familiar message all throughout the old testament. Do not take upon yourselves the surrounding culture, that is, whether or not in captivity.
