A play on your words, as you stated that those in that group also want to come to the Cracker barrel to dine, and I extended that to many of them in their group want to come to the Lords table of salvation, but also want to keep their sin area active at same time!
Well...numbers I can find say about 3.8% of the American population identifies themselves as LGBT. That's a general statistic; numbers change when you look at specific areas of the country; for example, Hawaii has the highest state percentage (or District of Columbia, If you count them as a state), while North Dakota seems to have the lowest.
Zaac's neck of the woods (Georgia, based on previous posting) is credited with 3.5%. So I guess that means in any given Cracker Barrel in Georgia, with a crowd of 100, statistically there'll be 3 or 4 homosexuals eating.
Now, Georgia is also credited with 85% of its population claiming Christianity.
When you compare 85 to 3 or 4 ... well, I guess "significant" is in the eye of the beholder ... or perhaps in the eye of those who actually deal with facts instead of emotions....
You have absolutely the worst case of verbal diareah (sp) I've ever seen.
You look for any and all excuses to tread on somebody's comments with some of the most juvenile excuses for your comments.
No wonder the BB designers allowed "IGNORE" on their site.
In essence, if I were not already a Christian, you would have done a great job of keeping me from ever seriously considering becoming one.
Statisticaly speaking, the numbers show the agy population to financially be better off financially so they tend to travel more. In that regard, I would venture that your numbers are way off.
Add to that the fact that metro-Atlanta is a gay mecca and the LGBT crowd flocks here in droves the way that they do Miami and New York and san Francisco, at any given moment, I would just about guarantee to you that at least here in metro-Atlanta, there's a lot more than you suggest.
But we mustn't forget that CB is a business first. They have new pro-gay policies that they just instituted. So they were trying to not place themselves in a tenuous position and in doing so did just that.
Oh HALLELUJAH that I might have the chance that you'll put me on IGNORE.
That's the same thing that just about anyone reading these boards say about the majority of you on here. Just flat out, rampant wickedness that yall seem to think is Godliness.
Oh, puh-leeze. Any rationally thinking person would have noticed I stopped at the state level. If you want to break it down by counties or even cities, we can look and see if anyone's taken it that far. But saying that Atlanta is a haven similar to San Francisco only means that the overall average for the state may be concentrated in the Atlanta area, and in no way negates the numbers I provided.
Um...yeah. That's why they changed their position and put the merchandise back on the shelves. Thanks for that analysis, Captain Obvious.
Funny how you didn't talk that way 'bout Zimmerman.
Nor do I see you pleading the same for those who name the name of Christ and are guilty of sins you think more heinous. On the contrary, I only see you accusing and indicting them—kinda like what I've read of the Devil
I sure did. But as with the homosexuals and abortionists, yall hear what you want because you're so wrapped up in being right.
Unlike the accuser of the brethren, I don't have to accuse you. The hypocrisy CONSTANTlY testifies for itself and sings loud and clear for the entire world to hear.
God says you will know them by their love one for another. And the lot of you, as can be seen in the church, can't seem to exhibit any such love for anyone or anything that does not fall into your mold of conservative, Republican and it truly is abysmally shameful.
To combine a term like that while you are the accuser of hypocrisy takes the manna out of somebody's mouth. Maybe Jesus didn't seem to exhibit much love for the Pharisees and scribes and moneychangers, or the adulterous woman (supposing that questionable passage of scripture is valid) when he told her to "sin no more." Continue to evaluate by what anyone seems to exhibit, and you're sure to get your judge's robe tomorrow.
