Crucifix Ban

    1. The Crucifix does not imply Jesus is still on the Cross, no more than a Nativity Scene implies He is in the manger. It is a reminder of the price of our salvation.

    2. The Command in the Bible is not a command in general against making graven images but of making graven images to worship. That is why the Golden calf was idolatry but other images such as the Bronze Serpent (The First Crucifix) and the Ark of the Covenant were not idolatry but symbols of faith.
