Finally, you confess to the real problem. Unbelief in God and His word. Taking the word of man (science) over God's is something that does not please Him.
Actually, no one knows time as we know it even exists in the far universe, so we can't say how long anything takes to get here! (beyond around one light day, where the furthest probe of man has not even reached yet!) Your foundational reason to not believe Scripture turns out to be false.

Creation is not ignorance at all, it is truth right from God and confirmed by Jesus and the apostles. The ignorance is rejecting the word of the One who made it all, and taking to heart the lies of science, falsely so called.

You don't believe in GOD, the Word. Anyway, here goes Psalm 90. Moses in his prayer said to GOD: A thousand years in thy sight ARE but as yesterday.

Although you be unbelieved, know that GOD says for you by His Word: Be not IGNORANT of this one thing, that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years,...2Pe.3:v.8

Quite the opposite: It's you who have not any part with what GOD revealed to Moses, and revealed not to you.

Rather than trying to pretend those who do not share your opinion that God is mentally challenged as far as not comprehending the difference between a thousand years and a day are atheists, try to get a grip and be honest.

That has nothing to do with the days of creation, God told us how many there were. He broke it down to mornings and evenings also for those who may be a little slow. God knows how many hairs are on your head (if any) and how many days each of us will live. Not how many thousands of years we will live.
Petty attempt at insulting other posters after you lose.

Not sure what you think that means. Apparently you confuse the six days of creation with millennia. Do you think Jesus was three thousand years in the grave too?

You do not know. You fail to understand what you think you know comes from man. This includes our Bible and belief in it's claims.
Again, what you believe from man.
    Man makes this claim.

How did you choose which man's views are the truth?

I know God. That is why I am Christian. And a Baptist at that. Which you are not.

So let's get this straight. The bible comes from man according to you. But you also say "Taking the word of God to have meaning contrary to known fact is as a denial of God's word being true"
Believers take Scripture as known fact. Jesus did. Even the devil does..
    Proverbs 30:5
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

    Luke 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God
    John 17:8
For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me
If they do not agree with God's word we can file them in the fable drawer. The standard to measure things against is not so called science.

No. In fact. Your copy came from man. Now I believe we both believe it orginated from God through His choosen author. From that point on it has been passed down through man.

So God picked people (such as the apostles to whom He promised He would bring it all to their memory correctly) who would have their records passed down in a way that made their record useless and wrong in your mind. Sounds like a weak excuse not to believe. There are multiple translations and from what I have seems they all agree to a great extent and are not too bad. Jesus referred to the writings of Moses and the prophets, was He reading the wrong thing? We have the same record today.

It's handed down by God. The scribes in Israel took great pains to ensure accuracy.

No. God does not make copies for us. It has been left to man to make the copies.

What prevails is the Word of GOD. The Word is GOD, do you understand?
Your thinking is from a human perspective, a stumblingblock, not from God's perspective! "

JAMES didn't mean what you have interpreted about his epistle chapter 2:v.19. It's you who are saying your devilish nonsense and devilish interpretation.
James 2:v.19 Thou believe that there is one GOD; thou doest well: the DEVILS also believe, and tremble.

It is not a surprise your evil reply. 2Corinthians 11:v.14-15
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (MINISTERS OF SATAN, MINISTERS OF THE RED DRAGON) also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

He gave His words to men. The scribes in Israel took great pains to pass them down accurately. No worries or excuses not to believe.

The six days are what God took in creating. It was all finished after that. Any thousands of years you thought were associated with that are fantasy. Get it?

Really? I answered what you had asked.
Be reminded, Romans 2:1, ". . . Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. . . ." And this can apply to me as well as you.
