I guess I'm mostly indifferent on the matter (except on that first morning when you lose an hour's sleep), but I do prefer DST, I think. However, if it 'stopped changing' everything would adjust, and whether it's standard or savings time would be irrelevant.

I am not a morning person. However, my three dogs expect to be let out at 6:30 in the morning. It makes it hard on an old man like me to get up an hour before sunrise currently when I would be getting up right at sunrise if we were on Standard Time, and the 25 minutes of twilight before sunrise would make it even better.

As the old saying goes, "Daylight saving time: Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket.”
