Spent the day today at Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center talking options for clinical trials for a reoccuring lung cancer. Current doctor seems to feel that we are not making enough progress against the cancer to warrant the devistation of the poisonous stuff we are puttin in my veins. Didn't come out of the meeting today convinced that it would be in my best interest to go thru these trials. Will spend the weekend in prayer and reading the paperwork they gave me. Will talk again with my doctor at the beginning of next week. Trusting the answer will come thru prayer....

Decision made, and have decided not to participate in either of the two clinical trials we were offered. You may rest assured that I covet your prayers which aided in the decision. Other options back with my cancer doctor are still on the table...... just not either of these. Have an appointment back with him on the 26th, and today was told I could go on full disability within 30 days at my choosing.

Had my appointment yesterday. Including xray and blood work. Blood work came back good and my CEA marker is down another two points to 17. (2.5 to 5.0 is considered normal..... we started in the 60.0's back in the fall and have watch it decline ever since. Xray's were acceptionally good looking..... The center of the chest along the right lung has recessed... and the spot in the left lung ain't visible on this xray. Will have catscans at the end of September..... Looooookkkkiiiiiiig good........... Thanks for all the prayers.
