We actually agree on a lot, but that would make the BB a lot more boring :wavey:

Yeah, like I said earlier, if the HOA wants to give him a variance, that's within their right to do so. He didn't have any right, however, to erect the flagpole without it.

Good judgement was sadly lacking on the board of the subject HOA. One person like you on that board might have made a big difference.

The entire board should be forced to resign or voted out.

I agree. And whoever made the comments about HOAs getting power hungry are correct. I have had to fight the HOA, being a board member, to stay out of people's lives.

Then homeowners complained to me that I wasn't doing enough. lol
