Demanding the Tithe

    Did Cain and Abel tithe, and if they did, did it include money?

    1. As to law, they sinned and therefore there was law, for sin is a transgression of the law.
    2. As to giving, they sacrificed. Their sacrifice had to be a specific sacrifice as God had ordained and instructed them to do so. In this Cain failed.
    3. As to money, even Jesus referred to a tithe that was not always in money.

    Web, I easily concede that you're more studied than I am -- but at the time of Cain and Abel, were they even using money yet?

    If they had been bankers instead of farmers and herders, would they have given of the first fruits of their increase in that manner?
