That being true you seem to indicate in past posts that the 1769 King James Bible (which edition, Oxford or Cambridge?) is THE Word of God .
That being true then is the 1611 AV First Edition the Word of God or not?
If yes and being different than the 1769 AV, why can’t you except the fact that the NKJV or NASB is also the Word of God they also being different. Being different only requires one word difference BTW.
If the AV 1611 is not the Word of God (being different than the 1769 AV) then will you also condemn it along with the NKJV/NASB/NIV?
BTW, I personally believe the KJV Any Version, any edition is the Word of God and in the spirit of the KJV translators I say that the NKJV/NASB/NIV are also the Word of God.

Homebound:Evidence, evidence, evidence.
Yes, we would like to see some for the veracity of the KJVO doctrine.
Do you have evidence that the modern versions is God's word?
At least as much as there is for the KJV being God's word. Different English BVs were made both before & after the KJV.
Or how about, do you have evidence of all of the accounts in the Bible? You believe them by faith, the same way that I believe the KJB.
And I believe other versions just the same. (Not ALL, of course.) And not by BLIND faith. There is much physical evidence for many occurrances narrated in Scripture. For example, the remains of Gomorrah have been found, from an ancient Egyptian "traveling salesman"'s map. And there are stories worldwide, from people who didn't know of each other's existence in ancient times, about the sun and moon's standing still in the sky for awhile.
OTOH, KJVO is based upon blind faith, with NOTHING to verify it.
You cannot read the KJB?
"I" can-but can EVERYONE?
This does not mean that they are the best MSS or even scripture.
This debate has been raging among scholars for five generations. Can YOU solve it?
God's word was preserved in the English language, in the KJB. Why do you need another? Again, can you not read the KJB?
And it was preserved in the Tyndale Bible of the 1530s. Can you not read the Tyndale Bible? Why did God allow subsequent English versions to be made? And yes, I can read both the Tyndale Bible and the AV 1611 as well as the subsequent editions collectively called the KJV.
Were those Bibles not written in the best English of their day?
KJVO, what is it, a person who believes that God can inspire and preserve his word in one book so there would be no confusion on what the word of God is.
A belief not based upon REALITY, lacking any truth whatsoever.
Today, you say there are many Bibles from God. I ask why? Can God not put his word in one book?
God can do ANYTHING except what He says He won't do. And nowhere does He limit Himself as to how He may present/provide His word to man.
Would that not be the easiest way to keep ones attention?
Depends upon who "one's" is.
But why? One says this and the other says that, causing you to ask, which one is correct.
So it's OK for the KJVO to arbitrarily choose what he/she personally perfers, without the slightest bit of evidence to prove he/she made the BEST choice.
Confusing, confusing, confusing, and God is not the author of confusion.
Then which book do you choose between Kings & Chronicles, when one says Jehoiachin began reigning at age eight while the other says he began reigning at age eighteen? Which Gospel do you choose when one says both thieves crucified with Jesus reviled Him while another says one of them asked for forgiveness? Which Gospel do you choose when each one gives a different number od women appreaing at Jesus' tomb early Sunday AM?
Nope, this aint comparing apples and oranges. The differences WITHIN a set of mss has much-greater weight than do the differences between sets.
All we say is, the King James Bible is God's word for the English speaking people of today.
Actually, it's God's word for the English speaking people of the 1600s, same as was the Tyndale's for the early 1500s & the Geneva Bible for the late 1500s. All of them are different from one another, and either all of them are valid or none of them are, seeing as how they were all made from basically the same mss.
Can you not accept that? It's God's word, believe it.
I believ it, but I also believe God still oversees His word and makes it appear in today's languages. After all, God also controls all languages!
You're right back on Square One, trying to promote a doctrine about Scripture that has no Scriptural support & is therefore false. Spin, but no EVIDENCE, but that's the KJVO way, trying to make something outta NOTHING. Better leave that to GOD. -
If Matt. 23:24 was the only problem in reading and understanding the KJV, it probably wouldn’t be very important, but the KJV is full of words that most English readers do not understand the meaning of as they are used in the KJV.
