The question presumes the truth of Genesis 7, and asks what may account for the present condition of the earth.
What's your point in this thread? If you think the question irrelevant, then don't engage, but don't presume to judge matters of which you know nothing.
This would show that the speculation of the Theory of Evolution has holes in it, there are alternatives and the evolutionary teaching is nothing more than speculation.
so do you question its teaching as science in schools or do you just sit back and let it be taught?
So how does it do that and what information do we have that would even give anyone a hint of an idea that such speculation is within the boundaries of reality?
That's very true and evolution is scattered through those text books and taught as truth, yet there are other explanations and theories out there that need to be taught.
Maybe the churches should ensure out children are taught alternative Theories instead of just giving them bible stories that seem like mother goose stories.
Astronomy is also part of that teaching in the fact of the age of planets and stars as well the moon and its moving away from the earth and what that would take.
Also the sedimentation in the oceans falls under all of this based on the sedimentation rates we have today the oceans should be full if the earth is and old earth.
On the dust arguments, I'd simply note that there are reasonable, and scientific thoughts about these, several offered prior to the moon landing itself.
