    :godisgood: Pray for our nation. We the people can affect term limits by voting out the comfortable career politicians that are the problem. And voting in the new blood that will make a change.

    God Save Our Nation. :praying:

    Why Not?

    I did vote - In fact two offices were unopposed and thus, I did write in votes for those.

    I voted straight Republican. I have no problem admitting that. I'm sick to death that I have , we have, two more years to contend with the top Dem. in the highest office.

    God help us. :flower::praying:

    You know what could have prevented ITL's playing of the system? Voter ID. :smilewinkgrin:

    We have voter ID rules here. You must present a license in order to vote. That's been the rule in Delaware since I was old enough to vote back in the day when Dinosaurs roamed the earth.
    The only problem now is it's harder to find a place to park my Brontosaurus.

    Sorry, that was a little bit of inside baseball there. I was asked to provide ID today in Virginia and am pretty sure VA has always had that policy. I've had to vote absentee a few time in the past so I'm not quite sure.

    I voted today and had to provide photo id and voter registration card. In fact they scanned the voter registration cards bar code. Glad for it.:thumbsup:

    Yeah, it's an inside joke. I didn't go to my parent's precinct and vote as if I were my Dad. I filled out their absentee ballots and voted as if I were them a couple of weeks ago.
