What makes one's keeping of the Sabbath Day, 'holy'? Is it possible the Jews could keep the Sabbath Day holy just like Christians would or might? What - if there is any difference - would be the reason for it?
Do the Jews keep the Fourth Commandment?

Gerhard Ebersoehn, your profile say "reformed" as your religion. what is that?

Kid of Calvin! Ja sure, Protestant in every fibre. Free Grace; Christian duty;have you faith, keep it to yourself and do your job! That's 'Reformed' in my mind. Only the Scriptures - that's 'Reformed' - which very few 'Reformed' take seriously. Let's go Catholic, and renounce the Scriptures, then we won't be bothered in the least - then we'll all be happy, like Hillclimber, with no concern whatsoever, jeepers!
That's what gives me, the creepers! That some call themselves Reformed but don't give a dime for the Scriptures. -

It can be lekker; or it can be hard - and boring to death; no harder labour than a Sabbath Day by reason of the Law. And even harder for a Christian were it by reason of the Law he kept the Sabbath Day. That is not keeping the Sabbath Day holy; that is transgression of the Fourth Commandment and the trampling underfoot of the Sabbath Day. God forbid! Not by reason of the Jews' reason d'etre for a Christian - for a 'Reformed'! So Calvin humorlously rejected and despised the superstion of the Sunday-keeping Church; he called it thrice as bad as the Jew's hypocricy. The pope revers it. Have your choice - you only have a choice between the pope's and the Lord's Day. Don't think you are too good to face and answer this choice Hillclimber; you'll never get over it; you must go through it.
