Just wondering what the people here think. Will God allow Noah's Ark to be found, or would that be so much proof of the truth of the Bible that it would negate free will?
Do you believe Noah's Ark will ever be found

No I don't. Why, it would give people an object, something they can see, to worship. and as we've already seen with the shroud of Turin, people will worship it, if it were ever found.
The Holy Spirit, God, is capable all by Himself of proving His existance, who He is, without an object as a sign. He's been doing it for thousands of years, and been successful so far. I suspect He'll continue to be successful doing it His way. -
How would the media and the un-saved public respond to the discovery of the Ark? -
Jesus walked among men in His day and they didn't believe Him then. Finding the ark would not provide any more proof than a boat floated to the top of a mountain and rested there.

There is never going to be enough proof for some folks that the Bible is real. The ark being revealed would be nothing more than an interesting side note for some.
That aside, I just don't know whether it will be uncovered. -
The real reason the ark is so hard to find is because that is where they stuffed Jimmy Hoffa. -
Faith comes from God, not objects, so far He's done it without proving a thing to anyone. -
Now I am not saying I need the Ark as proof of the Bible, but I do believe some people might come to faith in Christ as a result of it being found. Of course there are those who would not believe no matter how strong the proof is. Fir the record I think the proof now is very strong if a person is just willing to look at the facts. -
God gives faith, and He does it all by Himself, He doesn't need help.
Jesus condemned the need of proof, of a sign.
The facts are in scripture, nothing else is needed. -
It's been nearly 20 years since I've been into this kind of stuff much (we were once active with a creationist group in the Dallas area), but some, at least back then, thought it HAS been found. It's said to be quite inaccessable, which would work both ways - can't get to it to VENERATE it if it is the real thing, but can't get to it to VERIFY if it is the real thing. It is in an area that is guarded closely by the Kurds, and one of the westerners who saw it, if I remember correctly, was brought there by the Kurds as a reward for saving the life of a member of their tribe (or whatever it's called).
I also recall that this particular arc is now believed to be in 2 pieces due to a heavy snowfall and subsequent avalanche in recent decades.
It may all be a bunch of bunk - it doesn't really matter that much to me. And I doubt if it would really change minds much anyway. -
Christianity is not a non-logical, non-thinking religion. The Bible tells us to "prove all things, hold fast that which is true. -
Back to the ark.
It seems to my memory that a few years ago some archeologists were searching for and thought they found the location where the ark should have been. Never heard any more about that.
Cheers,

Jim there is a video on it. We had it in the Media Center until it wore out. It was one of those Amazing Facts things.
I'm sure I've seen a documentary on it too. I think the place it is at is really inaccessible because of the weather. - trying to remember what it had said. -
It has probably been completely crushed by years of shifting ice.
