John wrote to us that we might KNOW and have fullarrurance that we are right now saved, and assured of heaven...
Do you have that security God meant for you to have?
Do YOU Have full assurance that you are saved, and heaven bound?

desertjim already started a thread on this topic...
I've just read today 'Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners' by John Bunyan.
This was a great read, and quite an enigma, but at the same time I see 'the same afflictions accomplished in the brethren in the world' 1 Peter 5:9. Bunyan struggled for years with assurance, wicked thoughts, struggles, trials &c but left this world in peace.
Many today have the same struggles.
'Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling...' Php. 2:12. I don't see in Scripture the haughtiness of assuredness of salvation that is expressed so often today. I'm speaking of the haughty attitude that is an accomplice to those who prayed a sinners prayer and are not in church and who are not walking with God. -
Haven't we all read and accepted Romans 8 and 11?
It's right there.

This is where the insecurity camp's cry against OSAS is totally destroyed!
"Eternal" Life - And ye have it Now! -
1Cor 9
23 I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. ... 27 but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
And here -
Matt 18
32 Then summoning him, his lord *said to him, ‘You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’ 34 And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. 35 My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”
And here
Romans 2
4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who will render to each person according to his deeds: 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;
And here
Romans 11
20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, butyou stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.
22 Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
23 And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Too many to list right now...

35 Jesus said to them, x“I am the bread of life; ywhoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. 37 zAll that athe Father gives me will come to me, and bwhoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For cI have come down from heaven, not to do dmy own will but dthe will of him ewho sent me. 39 And fthis is the will of him who sent me, gthat I should lose nothing of hall that he has given me, but iraise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who jlooks on the Son and kbelieves in him lshould have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
esv john 6:34-40
So you are saying Jesus either lied to us, or was mistaken on this, correct? -
If thou does, thou art a fool ...
... 'cause I gots 13 voices (verses) which simply state that ...
He whose faith endures to the end of his life shall be saved!
... 'tis all to be determined later, sorry!
Care to see da 13? ... and be embarrassed AGAIN?

You are peter spoke of here:
as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures

You should be banned ... for I have shown you the following 100 times already ...
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess (repent of) our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
(1 John 1:7-10)
I keep it handy, so I can post it another 100 times!

1John3:9 - "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God".
Surely you don't imagine nobody is noticing your avoidance of this text?? You have chapter 1 down pat, as the flesh sins, we confess and repent. But what shall ye do with chapter 3?? Continue to ignore it maybe? Surely you don't think chapter 1 cancels it out do you?? -
1 John3:9 - "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God".
If thou relies solely on the venerable KJV, thou art quite foolish indeed.
The correct meaning of the Greek is "will not continue to sin".
IMO, habitually ... for this certainly goes against the new blessed nature of the BAC.
However, any BAC may and can choose to exercise his free will, and habitually sin!
A diseased orange is still an orange, but t'will be thrown in da fire to be burned.
Please, try to get with God's program! ... You're laggin' behind.

As one can see, (A) is the word of God and thus "correct". (B) is the word of E7 which contradicts (A) the Word of God.
