Mt 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
28.
Mt 11:29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I
am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find
rest unto your souls.
Mt 11:30
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light
This is text, this IS a promise. You can
live as if its already taken place, because it has, & thats action.Mr 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all
things are possible to him that believeth.
Mr 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye
desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them.
Mt 8:13
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as
thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant
was healed in the selfsame hour.
That's the key, belief, & I've learned we don't believe nearly so much as we like to think we do. There's also a condition with the promise. Jesus says to keep HIS commandments, then ask whatsoever we will.
We tend to forget the KEEP part & focus on the ASK part. I know, I've been there.
We must also remember this,....it's in HIS
time, not ours. When I pray for my wife to be healed, or my stepson to be saved, I expect it to be done right THEN. But I've learned that may not be God's time.
Remember, he's never early, neither is he ever too late. Mary & Martha thought he was too late when their brother died, but he was'nt, was he?! :D -
Raulf, my heart aches for you. Why is your heart so hardened to God? He loves you more than anyone in this whole world could ever love you.
One of my favorite verses is this:
(Gen 50:20 KJV) But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant
it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people
alive.
This trial was for the BENEFIT of ANOTHER! God used Joseph to bless other
people . . . to SAVE other people!
And do you know what I "discovered" the other day while reading my Bible?
(John 9:1 KJV) And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from
his birth. 2: And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this
man, or his parents, that he was born blind 3: Jesus answered, Neither hath
this man sinned, nor his parents: but THAT THE WORKS OF GOD SHOULD BE
MANIFEST IN HIM.
This man's trial wasn't for himself or even for someone else. Sometimes it
isn't about US! It's ALL about GOD!!!!
Aren't those amazing thoughts! -
Raulf7,
Seek God and what changes He is desiring in your heart and life right now. When trouble after trouble comes into my life, first, I praise God that He cares enough about me to want to change me, and then I ask God to reveal the sin in me or whatever that He desires to see changed.
Lord, I lift up to you whatever Raulf7 is going through right now, and pray that you would answer his prayers to you; that you would change him and bring him into your will for his life; and then by his obedience, that you would bless his life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
Question God! Be angry with God! But do not forsake God! -

I wonder how much pain you could really take?
I wonder if you found yourself in jail for something you didnt do, lost your business, your home, your cars, went bankrupt, had creditors threaten your family with violence, had both inlaws die while you were in jail, had your Church turn your back on you, had your family and friends all disown you, lost credibility in the industry you once were well though of, were beaten up in jail, got extremely sick because the authorities in prison didnt believe you were really sick and you couldnt get medical help, your Father had a heart attack at the same time and ended up in hospital but you couldnt visit him, ex-inmates tried to extort money from your wife while you were in jail, had a contract put out on your life by creditors, your inlaws before they died had $100,000 cash in the bank but refused to give your wife and son money to buy food so they had to beg to charities. I wonder if all this happened to you if you would still feel so bright and happy with Gods blessings?
Job had an easy life.

I join those in offering prayers and my sympathies with your situation.
I have two questions for you:
1. What is your salvation testimony? Briefly, how and when were you saved?
2. What specific blessings do you feel that God has promised you as a Christian in this world?
