The argument "appearance of age" argument makes God out to be some kind of liar.
So Adam and Eve were babies crawling around and somehow survived?

Personaly I hold to a literal 6 days of Genesis 1 and hold to an actual old universer.
With what evidence?

The 4th day actually only says God made two lights. The lesser light to rule the night and the stars. The KJV, NKJ V and NASB has "He made" in regard to the stars in italics. The NRSV uses a long hyphen.

No, it definitely says and the stars in the Hebrew as well. You are trying to do some major grammatical gymnastics for your argument and it doesn't hold water.

My view is on the first day when God said, "Let there be light," our Sun became the Sun that it is. And 4 days later the what is now the solar wind, blew debis past the earth to make the Sun and Moon visible as such.

Unfortunately for you, that is NOT what Scripture says. You are wrong.

Take the wine at the wedding of Cana.

How long does it take to make the"best" wine. Planting, cultivating, harvesting, squeezing, aging, etc... several years,

But Jesus took a shot cut and made aged wine in an instant at that wedding feast.

How about a universe in 6 days instead of 4 billion years.

No, its Gods choice. Were you there when He did it?

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

Te only account we have days 6 days. That is the age, our tests and logic is flawed

This is actually false. Why do you think there is nothing left from before the flood?

How is YEC irrational? I mean really? Could it not be that everything was created with the appearance of age? Or do you believe Adam and Eve were babies crawling around on day one of their existence?

The Genesis Flood was worldwide and very violent. The land mass of the earth was broken up into today's seven continents. Only the life on the Ark was saved. What do you think survived?

Adam and Eve were created as adults. Some say that they were only in the Garden of Eden a few days.

There is nothing left from before Noah's Flood of 4,300 years ago so there is an error in dating anything before that.

"Noah's flood" predates Noah by over 2,000 years. Also, \wWe have written records going back more than 7,000 years. I am at a loss to understand why you reject reality; God would also be baffled, I suppose.

Please note that the Genesis flood predates Genesis by over 2,000 years, and was local, not global. Also, written records go back more than 7,200 years. Why do you wish Earth to be young, when the evidence shows otherwise? God will not be mocked.

Genesis 1:1 and the known expanding universe at the rate measured for Hubbles Law ran backwards calculates to 13.7 billion years time.
The Big Bang: What Really Happened at Our Universe's Birth?

Oh so the translation of Genesis 1:16 in showng the words "he made" as added or omited in KJV, ASV, NASB, NKJV and the NRSV are wrong, in other words.

Unfortunately for you, that is NOT what Scripture says. You are wrong.
What did I say the scripture says that it does not say, or are you making a false accusations based on what I gave as an interpretation?

I believe we need to be precise in what we say. The earth and water is still here.

Again, that is not what Scripture says and there is no way you can argue that from what is actually written and not reading into the text what has supposedly been observed. Remember, science can only guess what happened, it can't be considered a witness.

I didn't say that. What I said was that the stars were made on day 4 according to the text which you deny.

What did I say the scripture says that it does not say, or are you making a false accusations based on what I gave as an interpretation?

You said that Scripture states only the sun and moon were made on day four. It also says the stars were made.

How do you figure this?

What written records do we have that are more than 5,000 years old? Proof please.

Please note that the Genesis flood predates Genesis by over 2,000 years, and was local, not global.

How do you figure it was a local flood when there is abundant evidence (both textual and physical) that it was a global flood?

I said no such thing. Quote me.
Ok, see quote below:
The 4th day actually only says God made two lights.

You said day four says God only made two lights and that just isn't true.

What did I say the scripture says that that the scripture does not say? Or are you making more false accusations because you disagree with some interpretation?

I didn't say you said it says something it doesn't. You said that it doesn't say something that it does. See above.

You mean the Earth in 6 days. The universe was 13.7 billion years ago.
That 4.5 billion years would have to be before the 6 days, or not at all in which case there is big problem with denying the evidence for half life which there is no evidence against. Do you have any?

First, there is no textual evidence for your interpretation. Zero. Second, there is no historical basis for your interpretation. Third, you have yet to answer whether or not Adam and Eve were created as babies or fully mature human beings.
