Even if the Feds win in court this may come back to bite them.

The suit says that it is the responsibility of the government - but the government isn't living up to the responsibility.

This lawsuit will serve to highlight that fact even more.

The Obamanites won't care.

Enforcing the law or the Constitution means nothing to them and they don't care what public opinion is on the subject.

Oh, please. That is beyond broad brush. Carpro, maybe one day God will remove the hate that dwells in your heart. I'm going to pray for you.

All heartfelt prayers are greatfully appreciated, but I believe the USA needs your prayers more. Pray that God will remove this scourge known as Barak Obama come 2012.

Only the Supreme Court enforces the Constitution. The Congress passes LAWS and the Executive branch enforces LAWS. The Supreme Court determines the constitutionality of LAWS.

In theory, you are correct.

In theory.

Too bad Congress and the SC can't keep their roles straight.

" To obtain welfare benefits you need to prove citizenship."

Not in OR, the state is not allowed to ask if they are citizens.

We have all sorts of fraud going on here. They were giving them drivers lic. without proof of anything for years - until about a year ago. State law forbids and gov. agency from snooping into legality.

We have them on every social service available and multiple illegals using the same social security numbers - some stolen, some phoney and Noone can call them on it.

OR is heaven for them. We had them flying in from all over the country to get drivers lic. yet anyone else had to prove citizenship and often they made it very difficult to do so.

Just one case they would not accept a SS card as proof if it was encased in plastic. In the 50s they told us to seal them in plastic - I had to take two hours sitting at SS to get a new card??????????????

Can't go after employers who are not allowed access to a government database to check for phony SS #s. They can't spot the phonies because the government won't let them.

And the SS administration won't notify them when the name doesn't match the number. They want to keep the FICA collected and keep it cominmg, even if it comes from an illegal.

Neither party wants to address this problem.

Yep, that's something else that needs to be fixed. What good is it to check something and then have no consequences for the wrong answer to anyone?

The words in the 25 page lawsuit already highlight the fact that, at best, they only want to selectively enforce the law when they feel like it.

Since when is asking for compliance to the law considered hatred? Could it be that there is, rather, hatred and envy on the other side?

Any one want to take this report and run down the truth on it?
It sounds so plausible and may speak to the motivation behind this and other administrations involved in this issue... a side not reported by the main stream media:

One reason why government is not bullish on expelling illegals... but wont tell us:

Heard a discussion on radio Friday that stated when Bush took office and implimented the tax cuts ...... it was based on the present and 'projected' surplus he'd inherited from the Clinton administration. Then we had 911 and other issues dominated media, national interest.... some info was obscured from the President's knowledge. (No excuses made here. All Presidents depend on their advisors and get what they get... unless and until they ask the right questions which goes deeper than the surface or importance that others tell them. Which means.... they are dependent on some knowledge and intuition or the quality and emphasis of advice presented..... and timing.)

Bush encouraged a crack down on closing the border and succeeded in getting Congress to pass a law and finance closing the border. Then he was hit with the bombshell that the surplus which he inherited from the previous administration had been manipulated (an illusion) by combining the revenu collections from SS and medicare taxes into the general funds. (Not a mere 'tapping' of the funds.) Due to limited population growth, of which, abortions and 'family planning' was about 1.9, our country was facing a serious demand on its funding of retirement for the baby boomers which it would not be able to meet. He could go public and tell all... but how would this alarm do to various progress... economically, the war on terrorism, the morale of the people.... (no doubt he received carefully crafted and calulated advice from people he trusted)? He'd tried earlier to get support from the people and the Congress to phase in a privatization of options available to people for their own retirement funding.... moving the control of funds from the ability of Congress to merge or touch to the people to control the placement and oversight. This might have worked for those young enough to benefit from more choices (and certainly shifted the responsibility for outcomes from government) while the baby boomers retirement might be managed by other ways. One way proposed was to create situations where by illegal aliens would be absorbed into the general population under an amnesty whereby they become documented, pay a price, are able to move their immediate families to join them....... and become documented subject to minimum wages, income taxes, social security payments, etc. and contribute to the labor force/growth and consumerism necessary to support the boomers retiring. This idea hasn't changed.

However, under Obama's health care there's another solution unexpressed for general public reaction, with the idea of solving the budget drain of retirement and health care: Classifying people into elderly or aged care. Yes, a panel formed within government will be deciding what is a reasonable expense for treatment and when a treatment will be limited or denied because a person will be deemed too old to be 'cost effective' or the outcome is accepted as terminal (some of which converts to 'terminal' by delays in care delivery). Those doctors who choose to treat, even without billing or because of 'private pay' will be disciplined into compliance on threat of loosing their licenses to practice, fines and/or other penalties. The number of retirees will be reduced by disease, health conditions, accidents which limit recovery due to withheld treatment, etc. considered as natural attrition as they age and encounter health crisis.

In the meantime, the borders aren't closed. 501-c3 exemptions are government given to groups representing political activism in support of both legal and illegal aliens and granting all the rights of citizenship regardless of allegiance.
----------------------
I hope to have time to research time lines and other information including the health care bill which was passed for clues or facts which dispell this story or confirms where the truth lies. I repeat it here for the interest and research of others... It just sounds too 'together' and plausible..... but the truth is not always evifdent.... nor is the lie.... Far be it from me to want to perpetuate a rumour or 'gossip', but, sometimes to find the truth.... one has to sift through a lot of stories and get the aid of others in tossing out the trash.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...ment-file-suit-arizona-early-tuesday/Accusing What do you think...... Arizona outta line? Federal Goverment to blame "not doing their job"?

Arizona is out of line. Seems, as investigations bring facts to light, that Arizona politicians are building a case on misinformation and not facts.

The Arizona governor, seemingly determined to repel every last tourist dollar from her pariah state, has sounded a new alarm about border violence. "Our law enforcement agencies have found bodies in the desert either buried or just lying out there that have been beheaded," she announced on local television.

The Arizona Guardian Web site checked with medical examiners in Arizona's border counties, and the coroners said they had never seen an immigration-related beheading. I called and e-mailed Brewer's press office requesting documentation of decapitation; no reply.

Brewer's mindlessness about headlessness is just one of the immigration falsehoods being spread by Arizona politicians. Border violence on the rise? Phoenix becoming the world's No. 2 kidnapping capital? Illegal immigrants responsible for most police killings? The majority of those crossing the border are drug mules? All wrong.

This matters, because it means the entire premise of the Arizona immigration law is a fallacy. Arizona officials say they've had to step in because federal officials aren't doing enough to stem increasing border violence. The scary claims of violence, in turn, explain why the American public supports the Arizona crackdown.

Last year gave us death panels and granny killings, but compared with the nonsense justifying the immigration crackdown, the health-care debate was an evening at the Oxford Union Society.

Two months ago, the Arizona Republic published an exhaustive report that found that, according to statistics from the FBI and Arizona police agencies, crime in Arizona border towns has been "essentially flat for the past decade." For example, "In 2000, there were 23 rapes, robberies and murders in Nogales, Ariz. Last year, despite nearly a decade of population growth, there were 19 such crimes." The Pima County sheriff reported that "the border has never been more secure."

FBI statistics show violent crime rates in all of the border states are lower than they were a decade ago -- yet Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) reports that the violence is "the worst I have ever seen." President Obama justifiably asserted last week that "the southern border is more secure today than any time in the past 20 years," yet Rush Limbaugh judged the president to be "fit for the psycho ward" on the basis of that remark.

I don't trust statistics. They are too easily manipulated - and are used to manipulate - public opinion.

And you folks who don't live on the border - as I do - have no "steenkin'" idea what it is like down here. The powers that be are as corrupt in S. Texas as they are across the border. They keep telling us how good things are but they belie the reality.

Anyone that thinks illegal immigration isn't a serious problem - with criminal activty included - isn't paying much attention to what's happening around them!

Arizona is right on target to be dealing with this problem. I hope many other Sates have the same courage to step up and do what should be done.

Our Federal government and those who are pushing for these illegals to be brought in and accepted need to see the big picture. Our Federal government isn't doing there job and don't want the states to get these types off the road and hand them over to the Feds.

The Virginia man suspected in a drunken-driving crash that killed a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant and repeat offender who was awaiting deportation and whom federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday. Way to go, one life isn't so bad ( or less it is a love one or yours), but from watching a thing on boarder patrol said 25 a day are killed by illegal immigrants by auto crashes, robberies and so on.
